Has there been a worse striker in a QPR shirt? The man is absolutely useless. We have had some poor strikers but i really think he is amongst the worst. I feel sorry for him. He should not have been bought. It is lamb to the slaughter. He is probably trying his best but his best is League 2 and not his fault. Nourry and Belk or whoever are to blame for him.

How many shots on target has he managed all season? His fukcing highlights for QPR are two shots that went just wide in two successive games

White Hart Lane 1991. I'll never forget it.
The oppo striker was a certain G Lineker.

The key line is 'he should not have been bought'. I feel sorry for the bloke.

This is all on the DoF.

I seem to remember a game at home to Leeds when he had loads of one on ones due to his incredible pace, with followed by shots still orbiting the earth.

Poll: Will we stay up?

Just having a look at his goals at previous clubs and they are all scuffed shots after being given loads of space with no defenders anywhere near or bad keeper errors after a shot straight at them. The general level of football looks worse than the conference.

Clearly he's been bought on the basis of "data" with no one actually going to scout him properly.

It really is comical that we've spent millions on him.

I think he is the worst professional footballer I have ever seen. Zero ability, zero effort. Whoever thought it was a good idea to sign him should never work in football again

Data is so much bollox.
Look at Joe Allen when he was at Swanseaola all them years ago. Great stats but actually wasn’t all that, just passed to someone 2ft away to notch up another ‘click’ on the pass completion rate.
After a £10m+ move to Liverpool, based on his ‘stats’ even Gerrard got pi$$ed off with him making so many meaningless short passes, nothing was ever incisive to send a player through on goal.

Stats, my @rse

I think the CEO and the Director of Football need to get together and find who is responsible for this signing and fire them.

If that is a player “trying his best” then Christ on a bike

Missing a penalty can happen but his all round game is absolutely atrocious and it’s beyond embarrassing.
If I’m Ruben then I’m conducting an investigation into this transfer and following the money as it stinks and someone must’ve been at it. I’ve said it so many times about this club but that one deal is a sackable offence, maybe even something whoever signed it off needs to do a stretch for.

He is clearly finished here before he even started and needs to be rested until we can find a field for him to rest in from January. We need to be starting Alfie until Frey can return and/or 1st January when a professional football player needs to be signed in place of Celar — not the 31st; it needs to be done first available moment

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

The atmosphere was fantastic second half BUT we should not be booing our own players...

I would start Alfie against Cardiff though.

A decent run to give Smyth a chance for a shot - which was miles over the bar.
Otherwise very little.
Saw more effort from Lloyd in his 30 minutes.

On that evidence, I'd like to see Lloyd start against Cardiff & Watford.

Starting to think he might actually be trying but is just completely out of his depth. Someone def needs to take the hit for this signing.

Need to try and get Celar loaned back to a Swiss side or someone from a European league in January and hope they buy him, because he is a waste of space in a QPR shirt. Really should be dropped and Lloyd put up front until Frey available.

Agree.Smyth is a limited player at this level, but makes up for it by giving it everything. You would hope that Celar would do the same...but he doesn't. That is unforgivable. Need to cut our losses with this guy, as I reckon his teammates have given up on him too.

Averaged nearly 1 in 3 for us, actually, depsite copping it from some hostile and possibly racist boo boys on the Loft. How we could use a Tony Sealy now!

Poll: What should the club do now (assuming no imminent change of owners)?
