20 odd points to stay up? 11:10 - Feb 5 with 2279 views1ASIN12

Realistically we probably need at least 21 points from 17 games to stay up . Or just over 1.2 points a game which equates to 46 points over a season . Something we haven’t managed since the 2019/2020 season with arguably better players .

I’m stuggle to see where we will get them from :

Wolves H
Chelsea A
Leeds A
Leicester H
Man U A
Tottenham H
West Ham A
Man City H
Crystal Palace H
Arsenal A
Bournemouth H
Newcastle A
Notts Forrest A
Fulham H
Brighton A
Liverpool H

Brentford H still to be arranged

Hopefully we can but it’s going to be a very big ask

Realistically, the most I can see us getting there is 15, even with a better manager. We had some easier fixtures when Jones first arrived, like Forest and Villa at home, which might have given us a chance of staying up but those opportunities have now been lost.

In Ralph's last 7 league games, we got 5 points; in Jones's first 7we've got 3.

Completely agree. I also think we might need more than 36 this year given that there are a lot of teams scrapping for points and the top 10 teams might well have fewer points between them than is usual.

This would be our greatest escape and with a new and improved Branfoot at the helm we're screwed, this man is a t*at of the highest order, a grade A bellend.

Along with the managers comments and tinkering, the manner of the defeats goals from open play where teams scythe right thru us. The players must be frustrated and moral low. We will be playing catch up for the rest of the season as teams around us have periods when they pick up wins like Wolves and Everton.

Forest 1 Leeds 0.

Looks like Forest have dragged themselves to safety - now 9 points ahead of us.

With 17 games still to play we can easily still survive.

We’ve got the players.

Someone just needs to fashion them into a team.

Dyche isn’t the only one who could have done it.

But we all know who can’t, and the sooner the board realise that the better chance we’ve got.

It’s too late now in my opinion, teams around us will continue to pick up points, I can’t see us overtaking 3 other teams in the remaining games regardless of who is in charge sadly.

I admire the optimism of those who still think we can though.

First job for the board is to sack Jones. I was all for giving the guy a chance but enough is enough. If we can get the right man in then a couple of quick wins will put the pressure on those around us and lift the spirits, then you just never know.....

At Stoke the clown won 5 games in 34 matches . He’s got exactly half that number of games left and needs probably 25+ points
With a record like that at Stoke surely it must have rang alarm bells wit SR

One thing for sure,if he carries on he will take us down.
He's lost the fans that's a big no no when fighting relegation.
