The criticism on here sickens me, I'm at a loss what they actually expect.
If we are in top 6 come the break for the World Cup, it will be an exciting 2nd half of the season
Top 8 by the turn of the year will set us up nicely.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Aye, it's utterly baffling.
I'm quite excited after seeing oko flex in the second half, if we get another winger/wingback like him for the left in Jan we could be knocking on the PL door.

That is literally all we need, got a feeling we may have the players within the squad already, RM just not playing them

I still criticise Cooper's football here , it was dull, not particularly a fan of Russy either, he's too stubborn and slow to learn.
Agree completely.
We’re on the best run we’ve had for years, but it’s taken him over a year to get here. If he has learned and doesn’t revert to last years style, we’ve got a great chance.

It has taken 12 months to get the team to play his way. They are still only halfway there. Top 6 now. It's coming together nicely.

He didn't have enough quality defensive players last year and it took a number of games to sort it out this year.
The injury to Manning has set back some of that progress perhaps, has he tred to make changes lately that he thought would be the safer option. Perhaps he needs to now trust some of the younger fringe players as he has with Cooper and Cundle
Oko-Flex inclusions have changed games. Do we risk losing him in Janurary if he doesn't start more games because he does seem to be a good option

Yes if he does have a good run, would it be seen as progress by his parent club and wokd they let him stay on his loan. If he doesn't will the parent look to shift him somewhere else. Anybody know if its a year loan or is there a callback clause?

Bizarre is the inability to understand some fans are more ambitious than others. Some are quite happy to plod along like lap dogs. Bizarre is attacking people that have the same aims for the club which should be to play at the highest level possible. We have too many smart arses who think they know it all and that anyone who disagrees with them is wrong.
The thing is we all see the game played differently, i personally like to see a back four with a sweeper and overlapping FB with two holding midfielders taking turns to go forward and one always staying deep.
Posters can all have opinions on our team players and management but like it or not RM carries the responsibility for our team at present. Comparing Cooper et al is pointless other than to point out that if we went up with this side there would need to be drastic changes to the squad with no guarantees like Forest are finding out with another 100 million being wasted in Jan apparently. That being said we would benefit financially if managed correctly that is, so im caught between wanting my team to go up and perhaps staying another year as the recruitment doesnt look strong enough.
I respect everyones opinion if reasonable and admit when i get it wrong, but to get rid of our manager who is getting the team playing a certain way is ridiculous unless you can guarantee that who you bring in is competant at working to a budget and getting results so that rules out the likes of Pep, Jose or Mauricio Pochettino who is out of work at the moment
Someone said we have left points on the field this year which i agree with, but thats down to the players making schoolboy errors and the players know it, i dont mean just bad passing either because these are pro's.
I honestly believe we are doing ok with RM in charge and cant see why fans are so opposed, i think that with this squad we are doing very well and the play offs could be in reach, add a couple of WB which wouls add pace to the movement and id say we would be almost guaranteed top six place.

As he seem to rebuilding the team and has a number of young players who are new to this level, has Martin been overly cautious the last few games instead of giving the likes of Oko-Flex a start instead of trusting them to start given the fact they have played so well when brought on and the obvious need to improve the wing play whether it be Wing backs in a 3 man defence or full backs 4 man defence. Hope by January he is able to devlelop existing squad players or get the required players in the transfer window. With Allen out we are also short of defensive midfield cover.

Dr P was getting banned under previous leadership.
Trouble with you and Dr P is you can't take other people's opinions and you want to control everyone else to think the same way as yourself.
The need for backing up statements is fair enough but you and P need to work off the same rule you ask of others and quite clearly you don't.
To be fair, you're correct, he's had more bans than Vinnie Jones, think he enjoys it. If I got banned and I genuinely felt aggrieved by said ban, I certainly wouldn't be back, not the good Dr tho.
