I think we will rest Willock and Chair and lose 1-0

It better not go the penalties. I'll have a train to catch tonight to get me home.

Over 2500 from what I can see on the offy. That should make some noise in the south stand.

As to the game, hope it does not go to pens. Can't stand them and never watch. R's to win 2-0 with Thomas netting his first non-pre-season goal.

What will be interesting in is whether we can create much without Willock, should he be rested.

And a win, naturally.

If we don't rest more than 1 or 2 players we should win, but it will be a very close game and may need another penalty shoot out as we did against Leyton Orient, Everton, Sunderland and then Rotherham in the FA Cup.

This. I think we’ll play Chair as he missed some training last week. So the minutes will be useful.

Dieng

Kakay––Dickie––Dunne––Paal

Field––Dozzell

Roberts–– Chair––Amos

Dykes

There might be another change as I think Beale said probably 3 changes. Not sure who, Dieng maybe.

I would expect Charlton to make quite a few changes.

Their cup final was last Saturday in beating Derby County.

I'd start Bonne to really rub it in to their lot the sheer quality we have as we leave Dykes at home.

Him up front with the fitter of the TR brothers, with the Manchild on the bench chewing raw steak to get in.

But before he does get into the fray, George 'World Cup bound' Thomas comes in and creates mayhem in and around their penalty area,.

The Manchild nets his first and our fifth on the night. 1-5 Rs.

I am disappointed with that line up . The midfield is weak imo. Thomas and Dozzell together will not get a grip on the game, even if it is against a L1 side. Of course if Charkton play a 2nd string team it might be different.

I also think that this would have been an ideal chance to start with Roberts giv n his near nonexistent pre season. A starting line up game for Armstrong too so that we get a better idea of what he might be like or if Beale needs to press on with bringing in a striker on loan.

I know that Beale wants to give all players a chance, but Hamalainen is not even L1 standard from what I have seen of him.

Riding my bike today about 2pm in Pennington, Lymington, I saw a young man in his QPR shirt, gave him the U Rrrrs and he said he was on his way to the match. Good luck and well done to him and all going. I'm jealous, should have decided to go.

Strong side from us, they've made 8 changes including giving starts to a couple of youngsters (one is the son of Rangers legend Carl Leaburn). No excuses, should be winning this

Share your concerns. Tonight is a big night for Hamalainen, hope he takes his chance. Paal not on the bench either, concerning!

At odds with Beale's "earn the shirt" and "two or three changes" pre-match quotes.

Maybe there's been a few players injured late or unavailable for other reasons.
