Steven Humphrys interview 20:49 - Jan 10 with 3157 views | 56years | A fascinating insight, basically Paul McShane came on, starting shouting at them to get forward etc, they changed shape to Humprhys and Beesley as a front two, and basically got in amongst them - ie. more direct! Surely that must be our style for future games?

Steven Humphrys interview on 21:03 - Jan 10 with 3081 views | D_Alien | That fits with how it looked via iFollow - a response from those on the pitch rather than off it That also puts into perspective the distinct possibility that O'Connell may not be long for Dale. I was a great advocate of him as captain once Hendo left but i'm not so sure now, especially if he's getting whispers from higher up the food chain McShane has always been vocal, and very encouraging of others on the pitch. Such a pity he's not on it long enough these days I'd be hugely surprised if there's not a fair bit of manoeuvring going on behind the scenes now

Steven Humphrys interview on 21:33 - Jan 10 with 2992 views | jonahwhereru | McShane has always been an abrasive character on the pitch, and it seems he throws his two bobs worth in when in the dressing room. Ferguson made a living by letting loose the likes of Ince and Keane in the dressing room when things weren’t going well. The manger needs to be the governor but senior pro’s can make a difference. Is there a case for finding McShane at role on the coaching staff, rather liked happened with BBM? I do hope McShane at least can mange a full game on Tuesday. Although Bonsey and Roberts are both good, I am not sure the latter brings out the best in the former. I was always most hopeful last season when McShane partnered O’Connell. Yes thanks...just a frozen shoulder issue that's painful and can take forever to get back to normal. I believe it often affects women on the change. Now that I have retired perhaps I'm on the change !

You're far too young to retire. Enjoy your new lease of life. Anyway, back to topic. Interesting that the interview was with the striker and not the captain, even if he did go off injured.

Yes, Steven's interview gives a really positive insight to the goings-on on the pitch and off it. I have never doubted the great spirit BBM cultivates in the club, we just need to cut out some of the passes and go for the jugular more.

BBM said that O'Connell has a hamstring injury that could keep him out for a while, so I suppose he wasn't up for an interview.
