Got what we deserved tonight really. Never did enough tovwin and didn't deserve to lose
Dont mind games like this as we looked organised and pretty solid.... but let us not fool ourselves Stoke are not the same without Campbell
Point not that good .... but staying solid might give the team a boost
Attack looks toothless and again Stoke defend well so perhaps us not scoring was always going to happen
BOS sorry he can't be picked again.... waste of a shirt just not interested
Chair and Dickie both good .... perhaps Dickie as motm as he kept a clean sheet
Dieng really good as well
So not a disaster but not really a plus a bit nahhhh ok

If the Warbs starts Dykes over Bonne on Sat then I give up.... he may not be great Bonne but he looks like a CF

Bonne struggles to stay onside and Dykes looks superb leading the line for Scotland and has earned rave reviews, many crediting their change in fortune and Euro qualification to how he has improved their overall attacking play (not solely focusing on scoring goals mind), our whole attacking unit has to improve and they play like strangers who don't know what the others are going to do next.

Wouldn’t be the most exciting game this year, but a workmanlike performance against a better side with us on a bad run, I’m ok with the point. Thought we were the better side over the 90, no real stand outs, though a mention for our back line would be in order and as others noticed, Kane ain’t able.

Poll: Thank God The Seaons Over.

I am pleased If I'm honest, Stoke are no mugs away from home and if they had won tonight they'd be in the playoffs now.

It's a point in the bank and we need every point going at the moment, not confident about our so called strike force up front they look desperately short of confidence.

Clean sheet? yea I can live with that.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

A point and a clean sheet but boy do we need a win

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

We had some more than welcome good luck tonight - the pinball onto the bar and the Stoke header that should have been scored. And Stroud had a decent game.( sorry)

Take the clean sheet, go to Wycombe and get another one.
Game by game Dieng, Dickie and, especially, Chair are becoming a cut above the rest of the squad (although that isn’t a high bar of course)

Dickie was immense tonight. We showed some fight and one more point towards the magical 52 but we lack confidence all over the park.

Next game is huge.

I only saw the second half. Daft kickoff time!

Yes defence good Dickie in particular. Barbet played ok too. Niko a couple of hairy moments but got through. Dieng impressive again.

Midfield meh.

It's a point against a decent team but we could do with 3

I think old Geoff clogging about taking up space doesn’t really help us ! So many misplaced passes and doesn’t offer any additional playmaking attributes. Ok defensively but only just so you have basically him and carrol doing the job 1 decent player could do on their own .

Don't Bonne mean good in French, just asking.

If the noun is feminine.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the Earth all one's lifetime." If the noun is feminine.

Or 'maid' if it's a noun. Unforunately, Bonne plays like an old one!

Sacre bleu (as they say in Continental Europe)!

Poll: How many points will we take from our next 3 games (S'land H, M'bro H, Leeds A)?

My mate Andy, who incidentally created The Beatles sculpture on the dock front at Liverpool is a Stoke fan. He sent a nice note on their similar site to this one just after the game.

"Predicted thriller ends in a stalemate. Mind you, that Chair fellow is a bit useful."

To which the next poster says...

"Perhaps we should table a bid?"

The old ones are the good ones.

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Seriously?? Probably his best for some time including two or three very good passes that weren’t picked up on by their targets.

Sorry if it’s already been said, I haven’t read through the whole lot but you don’t hear many people complain about the defending any more. Thought we were solid today, minus a couple of solo mistakes from Dickie.

A poor game, but some of the negativity on here and elsewhere is disappointing. What part of SUPPORTers do we not get? As pointed out here also, it is clear that the players are all working very hard for Warburton too, so no question he has 'lost the dressing room'
He has also (rightly) been criticised for some of his substitutions in recent games, but tonight I felt his changes wrestled control back from Stoke, after they had dominated the opening period of the second half. Carroll has been immense in recent games but it wasn't happening for him tonight and it was right to take him off ( not that it stopped the Sky commentators for crediting him with several passes after he had gone). Ball stiffened things up in the centre and got us on the front foot again.
Adomah, after a lively start, faded and again it was the right decision, although I was disappointed with Willock's contribution and his wild shot - with BOS free to his right - rather summed him up.
Cameron has been much maligned in recent games, but thought he was decent tonight. Some of his short passing was poor but conversely some of his long range deliveries - including the ball of the match to Chair from the edge of his own box - provided some of the rare moments of quality in the game
Poor Dykes can't buy a goal at the minute and cut a frustrated figure throughout. I actually thought he was a little lucky to stay on the pitch as he made not one, but two very late aerial lunges - fortunately for him (and us) the ref seemed more amused than annoyed with his actions.
Dickie was very good but Fletcher outsmarted him physically when he came on - he needs to be a bit cuter, which I am sure will come with experience.
Chair was absolutely immense - nothing more to say
Niko was solid enough defensively tonight, but disappointed with him going forward. I know Kane put some crosses straight down the keeper's throat, but at least he crossed the damn thing. At one time Chair was surrounded by players in the centre and was looking for an 'out ball' to the left, but there was nobody available. It made me think of a certain Irishman...
Anyway, a clean sheet and Dieng deserves that for his displays this season. Onto Wycombe. We, know the personnel, we know the formation, we know the style, we know the management, so lets stop bemoaning the fact that there is no magical change in any of these and get fully behind them.

Not being negative as some positives from tonight. But at home and you can set your watch to the subs and can predict the exact same changes.

Why didnt we bring Kelman on, why didnt we go two up top.

We show next to no ambition to win games anymore. That's not critical it's back up by the record

He played so well tonight I am surprised that O'Neill didn't detail someone to sit on Chair...
