Maggots have a bad name.Always getting killed too, slowly at that.

Think of the many Maggots suffering on the end of a hook before being jettisoned into a stinking canal somewhere only to be gobbled up by an unfit to eat fish.

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

AHHhh, Radio 1 has become a safe place for the over sensitive amongst us. These young people who can't cope with Fairytale's lyrics, are they ok with Stormzy's lyrics? Don't young people dislike talk of kicking people in the face or use of the word "nigga"?

Is it only rappers or grime artists who are allowed to use offensive language?

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

To be fair it is deeply obscene and offensive. So here’s Cardi B singing an award winning song about her dripping pussy instead.

Edit: nah I won’t post it, the first line of the lyrics wouldn’t get through the swear filter anyway. But Google it if you want to hear a beautiful tale of romance and courtship in the 21st century.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

I just read the lyrics, it's like the theme song to a hardcore porn film! I don't listen to radio one but if they play that without any changes but not FONY then seriously WTF?

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I do chuckle at the political correctness arm of the BBC.

Exhibit A

little mix, shout out to my ex. On R1 it’s in its original format but on R2 the word ‘sex’ is muted.

The Divine Comedy, National express. On R2 when (if said in real life post modern 2020)the lyrics go on about fat shaming a hostess, that’s fine. The song is unedited. I can’t say what R1 would do as well the divine comedy hasnt been on that airwave for some time.

I don't suppose Ivor Biggun's winkers song would be allowed then . Pity
