Injuries 21:39 - Sep 20 with 3632 views56years

Enjoyed our performance today, and certainly can’t fault the effort, but the injuries really concern me.
There will those who blame late back off furlough, the number of games so early in the season, but if I look back to last season we had exactly the same sort of injury problems.
Are we just unlucky, for example Humphrys didn’t even do pre season with us, or is there something we are missing? Whatever it is, it is a great concern as the memory of Calvin at centre half last season still haunts me........

Humphrys seemed to jar his knee into the ground when he made the tackle - don't think you can blame any fitness issues there. I didn't see the O'Connell one properly - just him going off and Mclaughlin is just an injury waiting to happen.

From BBM's post-match interview, it would be fair to say that we will be going to Ipswich without Humphrys, O'Connell and Amankwah.

It would seem that way.
Let’s just hope we can add to the squad this week
as we are back to square one with our attacking options,
at the moment it’s only the Ipswich game but it could be longer as with the other two.
I know we have a budget to work to but hopefully we can get some sort of business done either permanent or loan this week.
Fingers crossed 🤞

I fear the lack of an injury update is not a good thing!

If a player is injured and going to be out of the squad for an extended period of time I would have thought an update more likely. If there is a possibility players could be fit for Saturday perhaps BBM is keeping his cards close to his chest.

As much as I try to convince myself that rings true, I'm not having much success.

I think you are probably right. For knee injuries & some ankle injuries, sometimes you can't even do an MRI scan until any swelling has gone down so there may be nothing to update on. If the swelling is that bad then you'd think best case scenario would be at least a few matches out
