Aren't we almost mathematically safe now? 00:19 - Jul 13 with 3221 viewsisawqpratwcity

Barnsley can't top us.

Luton can (with three wins and three losses) but also have to overcome a twenty goal deficit.

Wigan have to successfully appeal their points deduction to finish above us.

And that's without considering Wednesday and their likely points penalty and the six other clubs between us and Luton...

Maybe not quite mathematically, but we're safe.

I'm actually beginning to think that we're mathematically safe from the playoffs too.

Baring a 20 goal swing between us and Luton, and with Wigan’s points deduction, aren’t we now safe?
