Today on 16:53 - Jun 28 by AndrewW_London | A great goal. But we need to go on a get a second now. A 1-0 lead will not be easy to defend against Watford. |
They will bully our defenders into a mistake given the chance..we are looking a lot hungrier than Thursday thankfully.

Today on 16:19 - Jun 28 by 1885_SFC | We're just as well off putting a wooden post at the back as Vestergaard. |
The lad done alright in fairness...seems a little bit fitter and faster also.

He did everything right there - I think it counts as an honorary goal to get his confidence up. Much better than Obafemi I think

Today on 18:35 - Jun 28 with 818 views | dirk_doone | First, let me say, after criticising him in the past, that was an almost flawless performance from Vestergaard. I'm always happy to revise my opinion of a player when they show improvement like that. The whole team played well and Ings is continuing to look like the best English striker this season. Walker-Peters has secured that right back spot. What a free-kick that was from Ward-Prowse. It reminded me of Le Tissier. Very happy with that performance. Well done to Ralph and all the players. Watford must hate seeing us come to Vicarage Road. We never lose there and they beat Liverpool 3-0. [Post edited 28 Jun 2020 18:37]

I totally agree. I've also been critical of Vestergaard in the past but he played very well today. You're also right about Walker-Peter who had an excellent game.

Today on 18:49 - Jun 28 with 783 views | 1885_SFC | Thank heaven we're a very decent side away from home. That's 3 goals at Norwich followed by 3 goals at Watford. If we can overcome the mental block that seems to inhibit us at St Marys, we'll be a top 6 side next season! *cough.

Agreed for once he dominated in the air and passed simply and forwards Strange how few passes went back today with no PEH on the pitch

Today on 13:23 - Jun 28 by ericofarabia | This!! They will play with far too much intensity for our nearly on the beach players to deal with. They are desperate for points and Pearson will tell them to take no prisoners. Hoping to be proven wrong, but unless there is a major shift in the players mindset, a 3-0 drubbing is on the cards. |
Well that was a surprisingly lacklustre p!sspoor Watford performance and a cracking one from us. Obviously The King of The Scummers will get all the plaudits, but I thought JWP was outstanding all over the field. Returnees Romeu and Vestergaard were both very good as well, as was KWP. He offered so much more than Valery, but not 100% sure about his physicality. Very glad to have been proven wrong about my pre match prediction. Well done Ralph for keeping everybodies enthusiasm high. Looking at the table, so many if only results which could / should have gone our way had happened Europe could well have been on the cards!! Lets hope Citeh are fed up touching a football after 82% in 1st half last night (didnt see 2nd half)and as 2nd place reality hits home, maybe we could restrict the to 5 goals. I'm working on my normal pre match happy clapper mode after the suuccess this weekend!!
