Old faces from the past Enjoy 😉 on 11:29 - Dec 19 by sainthelens | Inside a ground, maybe not. But around the grounds...plenty. Bristol Rovers (a) eastville late 70s, Ashton Gate, few years later running battles in their park next to ground. Upton Park fa cup...outside before game carnage. Plymouth away 90s. All the above involved both sets of fans. Many more examples. Elm park was bit one way traffic. |
Eastville always a pleasant trip.

Early/mid 70s. Romeo Elopes or something was the headline. He wasn't exactly Brad Pitt and the number 1 from Bert's didn't help... [Post edited 19 Dec 2018 14:18]

Loved that ground. Greyhound track, huge bank, wooden stand( which burnt down) A proper old ground
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I know Chris Brown fairly well, lovely bloke, always hated coming to the vetch, he was before my time but like many others always puts Swansea way ahead of Cardiff.

I went up with Tracey and the gang from the Garibaldi. I recall we drove past Reading on the M4 and went in from the direction of London as the police were blocking the usual junction. So about 50 of us pile into this boozer just the landlord behind the bar who very quickly lost the plot once Madness went on the jukebox called the police and off we went. Was a hell of a day out...

Reading AFC got sued after on the grounds of failing to fulfill a duty of care. The grounds of the action were that the ground was in such a state of disrepair that it allowed Swansea fans to riot and use crumbling terracing as missiles. I’m also in there somewhere. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

One of the few occasions I felt ashamed of being a Swans fan our colours dragged through the mud by idiots a pox on them all.

A few months later when we tore Cardiff's ground apart and a few of their pubs outside was a decent second. Edit ... Plymouth away as already stated, their town took one hell of a beating. Never rated them. [Post edited 19 Dec 2018 17:38]

You really scared a few office workers in the owain and some children in the ground that day. Any crew worthy of there salt would have joined the 100’s of Cardiff in the pitch. Shitouts

Here we go, another excuse, but as I have always said it's in Cardiff, always in Cardiff. And right before the game. The Ninian, what's your excuse for that being routed ? Wrong crisps on sale or were you all having tea at Rivers shag pad 😂What more can we do than knock on your door and say ... Hi honey I'm home ? More excuses than a defence solicitors note book.

That’s when we went to The Noah’s Ark pub in the town centre and a few of their boys were in there doing their best to disguise themselves as pub furniture, then they were asked to leave “their” pub by us and they did pretty sharpish 😂
