Camps did indeed play well.................but wasn't Cannon a force ...Mcgahey despite the penalty class is on his CV.

Andy Cannon motm for me. Camps was good, but Cannon was a different class.

The centre halves were excellent in my book also but I would have given it to Camps.

The defence were great, as was Kitching. Can't argue with Camps as MoM, but Cannon was different class. He never stopped, was a thorn in the side of about three or four Spurs players, and was a force going forwards. I never thought I'd be praising a Cannon associated with Dale, but hats off to Andy.

Every player deserves a 10, apart from Cannon who deserves a twenty

I think Andy Cannon is my favourite player you know.

Passionate, home grown, never stops, bit of quality. Hope he's still here when he's 30 and he's captain.

Cannon could easily have gone the way of Tanser. I witnessed the pair of them get an absolute rocket off KH at the last friendly we played at Fylde's old ground and it felt to me like the end was nigh for both of them.
He's had to learn the hard way (e.g. getting subbed in the first half at Bramall Lane) but he's become a player due to perseverance, ability and finally taking his chance (at the start of the season I'd have had him behind Rathbone, Williams x 2 and Inman but now he's ahead of all of them).
I can see Camps going in the summer for a lot of money and some sell-ons.

I've only watched a recording of the first half again so far, but I agree Salwa. He won the tackle and the ball which led to Hendo's goal and I've finally put my finger on something that's been bugging me ....... he's quietly turning into Matty Lund II. I remember saying after his first appearance he impressed me enough to comment that I thought there could be a good player in there. He's starting to prove it now.

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!

Kitching - Lund!! good comparison he gets better every game.

MOM - Cannon for me - the lad is a revelation.

close run thing there could easily have been others awarded MOM or even a team award.

Now we need to prepare for Wednesday!!
