Remain With or Leave the EU on 08:13 - Jun 24 by SgorioFruit
Blame the politicians not the voters If it was so catastrophic for the us to leave the EU then the politicians should have realised why people want to leave and then put that right.
100% correct
The out vote was vastly influenced by the arrogance of Cameron and his cronies.
The majority of those voting didn't have enough info (in layman's terms) to make a decision and posted an 'anti-establishment' vote

No, they posted a 'my life is shit here's a chance to stamp my feet' vote. Now the need to pay the price whatever that may be.
Cameron's errors are much simpler.
1) Having a referendum at all. They are paid to govern, a commons motion and vote is sufficient. 2) If you are going to gave a referendum, don't make it a simple majority. 60% should be necessary for change to moderate the numpties.
For those errors he'll be remembered as a complete f**ktard.
I ended up switching to remain precisely because of the anticipated illogical, party political responses that we have all seen this morning.
Corbyn coming out immediately with a demand for immediate Article 50 invocation is a prime example of putting party politicking ahead of what should actually happen. He doesn't believe that, he just wants to put pressure on the Tories. Cameron should be given due credit for saying that Art 50 will be deferred. This is absolutely the right thing.
Its going to be an interesting few months to say the least. I think we will have another referendum though.

agreed, Cameron gambled the UKs future for his own political needs.
Should have made it 50% of electorate needed to vote out.
Then it's an active decision to.vote out. By making it simple majority, you had loads saying " I just don't know, oh feck it , ill vote out"

Yep. This will be his legacy. In the same way the south Wales valley regeneration programmes are Maggie's legacy. When the Tories kick people in the balls they do it with style!
Mind you, Blair ran them close in the f*ckwiterry stakes, but then he's a closet Tory anyway.

Airbus release ominous soundbite.
I imagine we'll be hearing a lot of ominous soundbites. Who knows, the shock may be so big across the EU that we get major concessions from the EU and businesses will be reassured enough to stay and carry on investing in Wales. Unlikely, but I'll hang onto that hope as long as I can.
If we're not going to invoke Article 50 until we've had a Tory leadership campaign, that will feck things up furhter though. Ongoing uncertainty is not going to do anyone any favours. "Hang on and let's see what happens", whilst sounding good on a footie message board, isn't the approach major businesses will take.
