Strange how so many on here fail to grasp that, a cross from the bye line would work wonders for him too

Ordinarily, yes. But we're not getting bodies in the box quick enough so such crosses are easily dealt with. Pax today, down the flanks. Ayes / Gomis getting into the box with Siggy / Ki / Shelvey waiting on the edge for loose clearances. But if we zig zag like we have, the defence will think it's Christmas!!

It was one of those dreams that felt 'real' and I had similar when we beat the scum 3-0. Here's hoping as it would complete my birthday today

The Official Swansea City V WBA Matchday Thread on 11:56 - Dec 26 with 2270 views | FearOfAJackPlanet | Hope Routs is fit and Montero has woken from the coma he's been in for the last 3 months so we can attack equally down both flanks - and the Curt picks a team to do this. I don't think this a a game to pack the midfield with Leon, Cork and Ki and hope to nick a goal, let's go for it and believe in ourselves.

Then West Brom will sit back and hit us on the break. I will be surprised if Curt does this approach as his job is to steady the ship and therefore he will take a cautious approach. I expect a similar game to West Ham and I hope lady luck smiles on us a bit this time. One or two nil could be ours but we are going to need to be patient. We have faced plenty of these types of game since our second season in the Prem. Even though we are down the bottom at the moment we are still going to get teams coming here and parking the bus. Expect cynical fouls and time wasting from the off......

I don't disagree. But at the moment I think that visiting teams may fancy getting 3 points off us instead of trying to hold on for a point. This could well work in our favor.

I agree with that one. I think our chances of a win will increase if TP abandons his usual philosophy and goes for it. We would get an entertaining match as well. I don't hold out too much hope however. Most of their fans say their football is godawfully boring with huge reliance on set pieces.

Not sure what you're getting at there. Stoke are only 2 positions behind Man U and 11 points ahead of us. 2-0 HT. [Post edited 26 Dec 2015 13:44]

Correct. The next few months at least are not about fighting either Stoke or Man U. We need to be looking at Newcastle, Norwich, Sunderland, etc.

The Official Swansea City V WBA Matchday Thread on 14:04 - Dec 26 with 1695 views | TheKirkyLife | What a fascinating lineup. Montero and Routledge start in place of Gomis and Cork. No Fulton or McBurnie making even the bench. Is this going to be a 4-4-2 diamond again then? Montero and Ayew upfront?

Looks like 4-2-3-1 to me, Sigurdsson at 10, Routledge and Montero Flanking Ayew.

Must be playing Routledge on the right then. Your formation makes a lot more sense though.

Could easily have had 4 points from the last two games and haven't we hit the woodwork more than anyone ? Hopefully today will be a reversion to mean and we win two or three nil.
