Would you welcome new owners if the deal was right? on 18:32 - Sep 26 by morningstar | You don't know that do you? It is now possible to keep the brain alive outside of the body. If advances in this field continue in 20 or so years we could have boardroom meetings with Huws Martins Dineens and Katzens brains communicating with each other through bubbling glass test tubes on the boardroom table. |
Would they travel to away games and Europe Be a bugger if we dropped em, perhaps we could just do a download into an AI system and take them on a memory stick

They would obviously have their own secure transportation. This could be them making their way to Chelsea for example.

Which to me means at least equally sensible and correctly motivated owners as the current ones with lots more money that they are prepared to put into the club with no expectation of return. They'll take some finding though.

Would you welcome new owners if the deal was right? on 17:17 - Sep 26 by Jackfath | I haven't heard any rumours to this end other than those suggested by the OP in this and the other threads he continually makes suggesting we have some Americans about to take us over. Has anyone else any rumours other than from these here threads? |
I heard a rumour about US investment earlier this year but not recently. I took the rumour I heard 6 or 7 months ago with a huge pinch of salt and saw no reason to believe it was any more true than various other rumours over the past few years.

Perhaps then we'll have a way to know the unknown unknowns. My brain has gone squishy trying to work it out.

If you look at the picture, it is quite clear that I have incorporated the trust brains (Phil is the one in red at the rear). On matchdays they would all be in a line in the front row of the directors box and as they 'communicate' with one another their test tubes would light up. It would make a great effect especially at night games!

You mean Phil is secretly one of us? Always did have my doubts about him.

Don't understand why people would fantasize about this when the current board have done such a sterling job. Seems a little disrespectful if anything.

Commenting on a rumour is fantasising? You're an odd one.

How very Futurama!! Huw won't be here forever and that's a fact. The point will come when we have to look at the possibilities. Right now I prefer the status quo, but if the right offer came in (and I'd have to trust the board...and the trust on that) then I wouldn't, and couldn't, say no. The day will come and we all know it.
