Saints To Replace An Unlucky Supporter's Taider Shirt Monday, 1st Sep 2014 17:26 One unlucky Saints fan thought he was fine to get the name of one of Saints new signing's on his shirt, he was wrong ! Saints in line with most football clubs these days have a warning notice to supporters up that all names and numbers printed on replica shirts are final and the club cannot be held responsible if a player leaves or changes his number. However the twitter user who goes under the name of #JBridle2 must have thought he was on safe ground when he bought a new away shirt with Taider 17 on it, after all the player had only just arrived at the club and been issued with his number, surely nothing could go wrong. Of course we now know it could and seemingly the once proud owner of the shirt had wasted something in the region of £60 plus on a shirt that when worn would now be the subject of much pointing and sniggering. Probably more in hope than expectation JBridle2 took to twitter and posted a pic of the shirt on the clubs official twitter account asking "Any chance of a refund ?" The club would have been well within their rights to ignore it, but these days its a more caring club, within minutes they had replied "Oh dear, @JBridle2. If you bring your shirt to the St Mary’s Megastore, we’ll replace it for you. #saintsfc" Hopefully they havent got too many of these taider shirts out there otherwise it could be a costly excercise if they have to replace all of them, or perhaps they have only agreed to let Taider go if he forks out the cash, certainly we will have paid him well enough for the last three weeks not to mention the cost of putting him up in an expensive hotel.
