Seems to be the obvious choice as this stage.
He is big, strong and seems to have some creativity coupled with the fact he has 2 goals this season, if he can get unto double numbers then given his age then teams will come looking. |

McKenna clearly is a very talented young guy in management, some will just be better than others even if their ships sail side by side.
Martin will certainly have a couple of things to take his mind off things when/if he loses his job anytime soon 😂 |

I don't think you can get away with being a fraud in the higher levels of football in this country and certainly a fraud doesn't get a team promoted to the championship.
I see his downfall, he is a young manager and will certainly make mistakes as he has but currently he is a young manager who is managing in the premiership with a team he got promoted.
I see and understand the stick he gets from some quarters but the massive issue we have regards Martin and his time here was it was made to be a battle of Martin v Cooper.
The way I see it, most promoted teams into the Premier league, if those teams don't adjust quickly(most don't) then the fall guy will always be the manager. Southampton will see themselves in a higher regard as they have been in the premiership prior and will be quicker to get the axe ready......other teams will be a bit more modest and have empathy for the situation and will stick to the plan.
That's my opinion on it.......we all like to be right but it's not always the case. |

50 points took the last relegation place last season but that's high to previous seasons.
If you are struggling then it's keeping atleast level with points per game.
I think we can look at minimum 5 points from the games in listed in original post. |

Don't have a clue about it myself.
Just hearing that the 2 are going to take over soon, money being used this sumer for signings is from the pocket of Morris.

If we got an adequate replacement, we would be better off with the fact that atleast one centre half in the squad has more than 11months left on their contract at the club.

There is always a possibility that a Manager at Swansea City doesn't get what is needed, squad is still thin and I think he would be right to have a grumble if we don't get atleast a winger(left footed preferably) and an attacking central midfielder atleast.
Don't think we could argue if he wasn't happy with only Cullen and Vipotnik as the only recognised striker.
There is a line of managers who have oreviously questioned poor or lack of backing at the club.......its an open debate Wether it has been the case or not but he seems to be a pattern now with the last 3 managers before Duff. |

He had to say that because there was(very little though).
He doesn't want to throw the players under the bus totally in public, many would be moaning on here if he did as they are with this press release.
There would be plenty of choice words said yesterday and today for sure.
The next 36hrs highlight a need for a no 10, left footed winger and Striker and he said yesterday after the goalkeeper signing that he still wants a few more. |

The Ronald one was confirmed in a presser with Williams about a month back, he said Mykolo is now off the non WP list and Ronald comes off in Jan(12 months from the day he signed). |

He signed Jan so a non WP slot is taken for a 12 month period and they are granted a WP.
Vipotnik is a strange one, you need 15 points to get a WP but 10 or over and you can appeal.
Vipotnik would have been around 12 points when signed but since playing for us is now on 15 points so there is a high chance the appeal was successful.
Going to stick my neck out here and say after this French guy signs then there is 1 slot left.

We can sign overseas players Aslong as they pass the points system for a work permit.
We can sign up to 4 players that fit a certain criteria if they don't pass the points system for a WP.
When that player has then been with us for 12 months they are then provided a WP and then no longer take up a slot.
Ronald takes up a slot until Jan.
Franco got enough points for a WP
Vipotnik I believe didn't get enough points for a WP but Keith informed he already had a working permit I believe?
Eom takes up a non WP slot.
I would say this new guy will take up a new non WP slot.
If Vipotnik has a WP then we have 1 left, if he doesn't then all slots are taken up I believe. |

Looking back it was absolute nonsense and all about money.
If Wales really want a team in the Premier league then it was best for Swansea fans to come and follow Cardiff.........realistically Wales will never have a premier league club unless we combine.
We proved that wrong, 7 seasons, major trophy and getting into the knockout stages in Europe.
And the nonsense still continues with the capital club nonsense that they reel out all the time. |
