I’m just glad you spelt ‘bury’ with a small b. That’ll get right up the nose of that skyblueshaker bitter. She’s never got over me goading her into a crowd nonce reply on the way to the ground after a meet up.
The “former trust chairman” and the person who first replied to the poster making the accusations are two of the finest people you are ever going to meet - both at and away from football. There is more chance of me pulling Miley Cyrus at Lidl later on than either one or both of them getting involved in any of that and they’d have tried to put a stop to it immediately.
I can guess going off social media from yesterday the ones who probably were acting the goat but I’ll refrain from hinting at who they are without knowing what really happened. Something Newbury_Dale could perhaps learn from.
Someone messaged me just the other day actually when he saw a post on Twitter from a bury fan bragging about your club now being debt free. His friend was severely impacted financially by the actions of your club and it affected him in a huge way.
Deny it all you want but rolling over to have your bellies tickled by Stewart Day left a long lasting effect on many people.
Shall I use the ‘humility’ word again as that seems to always go unnoticed?
Why do bury fans think games should be switched to Gigg so they can see it?
Should Newcastle and Spurs have demanded we switched our home ties against them so more of their fans could see the game? I’m afraid it only seems to be bury fans that have this warped mentality.
The humility thing has been noted by me too. They’ve had an away draw in every qualifying FA cup round this season and each time a good number of them seem to think the home club should switch to Gigg because it’s a bigger stadium.
I’ve never, ever seen a Rochdale fan say that in any cup draw we’ve had. You can’t buy class.
Not quite sure that’s true, lad. Have a look on X/Twitter after most of your games and you’ll find fans of a lot of clubs don’t like bury. Could be jealousy I suppose over you massively outspending every club in your league. Can’t blame you for it though, it’s worked out well for you in the past…
Barry - I’ve asked a couple of people re: the trophy. Enquires are ongoing.
Aye, fair enough on your first point. I was hoping for Rob to be fair.
Totally agree that us drawing each other would bring out the bellends. Some of the usual suspects of ours elsewhere are hoping for it to happen and I doubt it’s because they fancy watching a good game.
I’m in two minds. I miss the days of meeting up with some of you lot pre match, especially when playing for your Dad’s trophy. On the other hand the boards will go into meltdown with bury crowd nonces (seen one post already today) trying to lord it over us whilst knobs from both sides will be drooling at the thought of gesturing from behind lines of police on the day.
How the mighty have fallen. bury fans getting themselves all worked up over potentially drawing us in the cup and celebrating a win over the mighty Radcliffe like they’ve won the whole thing.
Sad but understandable news. What George has achieved in his short reign is remarkable and both himself and Col need recognising in some way for the many long personal hours they’ve spent representing the supporters.
