Interesting what he said about adding 1% improvement to the players. Those fine margins and all that. Still feels weird that we seem to be making grown-up decisions. |

FFS. Only did the work rota for my team last Friday, now I've got to rip it up and start again. I fcking hate Sky, I hate 1230 ko on Saturdays, I hate Monday night ko, I fking hate Sky. How I yearn for 3pm Saturday kick off folloeed by driving home listening to Jonathan Pearce on the radio with my Dad. Fck you Sky. The worse thing is we are thankful for their money despite them having caused all this unfairness in the first place! FCK U SKY 😡😠|

I didn't see THAT save last night by the Turkish gk, so just saw an article on BBC comparing it to Banks in 1970. So just watched it and... Nowhere near Banks save of 70'. The only similarity was the fact it was a downward header. I'm pretty sure there are better saves in Euro history, which is the other thing the report mentioned. An Important save? Yes. Best ever in Euro history? Hhmmmm. |

A bit slow on the uptake, but I didn't realise Jan Mlakar of Slovenia was the same one who played for us about three years ago. |

I think you just made my point for me! 2nd half of the season they were awful and only stayed up because Tony scored a few before his goals dried up. That kind of implies that Brentford are poor. Think all the teams that went up will have a good go, including Leicester. |

£40m to Brentford! That seems a huge risk for Brentford, they were poor last season, and only survived because Tony scored a couple on his return from his ban. Reckon Brentford could be relegated next season. |

Correct. Trump, if unfortunately is elected, can only serve one more four year term. No President can be elected more than twice. This only came in after WW2 as Rosevelt served for four consecutive terms. So yes, technically Trump could win, then Biden could return in four years. Highly unlikely though! The only concern is if the Republicans attempt to overturn the two term limit, and with a Suprene Court now loaded with conservatives nothing can be ruled out. |

China is no super power, and highly unlikely to become one. It has no real sphere of influence, unlike the Soviets during the cold War, as it is almost completely surrounded by hostile states. Those states not openly hostile, such as Russia and North Korea are not exactly easy bed fellows. Both have recent history of direct conflict with China since WW2. It is sitting on a demographic time bomb, with the one child policy having been revoked to late to increase the percentage of working, and therefore taxable, age groups. Locaal government debt is 13 (thirteen) trillion dollars, which is not included in the national debt. They are fcked. |

Not media nonsense about Putin wanting to extend Russian 'Imperial ' rule. Kazakhstan is extremely concerned about Russian territorial claims on 25% of its country. Georgia has lost 20% of its country already, occupied by Russian troops. Belarus is a defacto Russian satellite. Russian troops and nuclear weapons now stationed there. Moldova has 15% of its country already occupied by Russian 'peacekeepers', and will probably be fully occupied should Ukraine loose its Southern Kherson region. Moldova has no standing army. Russian influence in Serbia increasing, stirring trouble in Bosnia. These are facts, not made up media nonsense. The naivety of people towards Putin today is mind boggling. Only a strong West, led by the US, supporting Ukraine and keeping Russia bogged down can keep Putin in check until he dies or is removed. Trump is a useful idiot to Putin. Unfortunately Bidens age has caught up with him and he really should step aside. |

I'm halfway through 'The Earth is Weeping' by Peter Cozzens a history of the Indian Wars in the American west. I didn't know a lot about this historical era, so thought I'd give it a go. Great book, very easy to read, but my God the brutality, lying and cheating that went on by both the US government, US soldiers and the Indians is shocking. Highly recommended to you history buffs on here. |

France has been flirting with the far right for decades, usually embedded in the militarily. I mean they even tried to assassinate De Gaul hack in the 60s. I'm going for Le Pens party to win the parliament vote, then Macron to resign, and she will win the Presidency. Trump to narrowly win. |

Watching the bees go about their busy lives in my garden, going from flower to flower on a warm summers day, while I sip an ice cold beer in a quiet moment of solitude. |

I can see why you were annoyed with yourself about Birmingham. Sanderson, Laird & Roberts yet I don't think anyone on here thought they would be relegated. Kind of obvious after the fact, but hindsight eh? Great read, especially the summery of Beales disaster at Sunderland (who are my tip to go down this year). |

Being linked in The Sun (for what it's worth) to Metz strike Simon Elisor. Played on loan last season at Troyes in D2, scored 6 in 18 appearances. |

A sweeper keeper. Be interesting now to see if MC continues with Dunne at RB considering he was playing due to Begovic's inability to pass out. Looks like it's going to be much more high press, high back line and less long balls. |
