That Saito shot, from the back of P block I could have sworn was in. Top drawer save. |

I'd like to know how his parents could misspell Everton? |

Haha yes that Chair shot was a definite case of someone's not played for a few months! |

Well let's see who scores more goals come the end of the season. Anyway the more direct comparison is Dykes and Frey, as Frey is more likely to start games. Frey 4 goals in 9 matches Dykes 0 goals in 5 matches |

Agreed. Problem is Chair needs a bit of time to get back up to speed. Colback needs to stay injury free and avoid suspensions... JCS needs to stay fit too (really hope he's not reverting to his on/off injury record). We'll get there. |

Santos and Celar are improving with each game I think. Of course Celar needs a goal but that will come. With a fully fit XI, Santos probably doesn't start though. Madsen does feel like a bit of a luxury signing and he's clearly not an 8, but let's see what happens. If we had 10 games left then sure I'd be worried. We have 38 games left, let's trust the manager and players to work it out. |

Fair enough if you disagree but I think over time Celar will prove to be a better striker than Dykes. I mean Dykes is now playing in the division below. |

Apparently Madsen played as a 10 at his last club - and we already have a few of those. If he's going to play at 8 then he needs to pick that up pretty quickly but not sure we can afford him the time. He feels like a luxury signing currently, but let's see what happens. And yeah him going short for the corners and not being in the box was proper mad |

We know what Andersen can do, he showed that last season, not in great form currently but that will pass. As for the others I'm not saying they're world beaters, they are new to the club and the English football and need time to bed in, they need at least six months before you can start to write them off (if that makes you feel better). |

Well yes that was awful |
| Forum Reply | First game at 10:05 2 Oct 2024
Didn't think it was that awful (of course conceding three goals at home is never great) but I thought it was a good advert for the Championship, lots of good attacking play, tackles flying around, decent pace to the game. Should have been enjoyable for the neutral, hopefully they'll come back anyway! |

FFS we lose two games in a row and suddenly we're relegation fodder?? The knee jerkery by some fans this morning is truly astounding. |

Er well we sold Dykes and when we had him we basically had...Dykes. Thought Celar is improving with each game - some good hold up play, flick ons, shows a lot more awareness than Dykes I reckon. Of course he needs a goal, and that will come. Yeah an odd game last night - we should have been one up in the first five minutes but for their keeper making three excellent saves. We definitely miss JCS and as mentioned with him and Chair back we should be OK. But we're still too open through the middle, Field can't do it all by himself and unfortunately Madsen is a bit of a luxury player in there, you can't play him and Andersen at the same time. A bit more pragmatism required from the manager I reckon. 38 games to go. |

Nah he was terrible. And the worst kind of Chelsea herbert. |
