"Sky sources" say Villa want Abel Hernandez from Hull. |

I've a scouse mate who went to school with him and she says he was a right prick then. |

Just one I've noticed, is I think some players 'strongest foot' is wrong. I've a feeling both Olly Lancashire and Craig Dawson both have their strongest foot being their left foot, when I thought both are right footed?? I may be wrong, so feel free to correct me. |

My Dad is from Castleton but moved to the Skipton area around 25-30 years ago, hence why I was forced into supporting the Dale. Then I moved to Northwich last summer for work. |

Been meaning to post regarding for a while now, but I was out running in an old Dale shirt a week or two ago along the A556 Hartford - Northwich area, when someone shouts "Keith Hills Barmy Army!" at me. If there's any other Daley's in the Northwich area, make yourself known! I know there are Daley's in Cheshire (SMAC for example), I'm just curious as to who was in this car. P.S. I am originally from Skipton, hence the usename. |

Big fan of this show! As already mentioned, it's the subtly that I like. On episode 4 (I think) there was two signs that stood out for me; one outside a pub: "One meal for the price of two" and another on a lamp-post that read "Husband missing! Last seen entering a whore". Brilliant! The radio adverts crack me up too! |
| Forum Reply | Joe Garner at 19:47 3 Apr 2015
I said at half time after lambasting him all the first half that if he played for the Dale, I'd love him. At full time, I changed my mind completely. Having a player like that would take us back to the Coleman days. I don't care how many goals he gets or how good he is, I want honest, hardworking players at the Dale. Players like Hendo and Done over players like Garner and Bobby Grant anyday! |

In the first season in League 1 in Hill's first spell in charge, I remember commenting on the standard of Referee's, and the big difference in quality between a League 1 Ref and a League 2 Ref. But this season we have had some truly woeful Referee's. The fella today wasn't great, but not the worst we've had this season either. Just seems the standard of Referee's has dropped since the 2010/11 season. |

The Posh goals haven't been uploaded yet, and neither have Walsall's to my surpise. They're usually on the clubs YouTube channel within 48 hours. But for the other two games: Coventry - First goal, unbelievable stop getting down at the lads feet and punching away, unfortunate it fell to another sky blue shirt. 2nd goal, their lad got past 3 or 4 of our defenders before placing a lovely shot that the vast majority keepers wouldn't have saved. Stoke - Need I analyse Bojan's goal?! Ireland's goal was a tap in, so probably more a defensive error (if an error at all), and Walters was also a cock up by Tanser if I remember correctly. For Moses, Lillis covered the front post after Raff was turned inside out, but Moses finished superbly inside the far post. So out of the 4 games you posted, 11 goals in total, where 6/6 were not Lillis' fault. I look forward to seeing the Walsall and Posh goals, and will hold my hand up if all 5 were Lillis' fault. |

Agreed. I seem to remember a "Mighty Scouse" or similar posting on here with his insider knowledge during Coleman's spell. |
| Forum Reply | That Dawson decision at 09:08 2 Feb 2015
Yes it was a horrendous decision, but I'm not blaming Dawson one bit for his reaction nor for the booking that followed. The ref deserves to be ridiculed for that decision, and had Dawson not reacted at all and just got on with it, I arguably would've been more disappointed with him because that would have shown a lack of fight and desire to win the match. |

Maybe it's just the day and age but to me £3.20 for a pint of ale isn't all that bad. I'd say it's pretty much on the money as it's the that I pay at my local, and other than in a Wetherspoons I'd say you're talking around three quid a pint in most pubs these days. (and people say us Yorkshire folk are tight ) As regards the quality, I'll have a Cask in the Dale Bar (sometimes more than one if I'm not driving) and I've never had a bad pint in there. On a final note, the staff in the Dale bar are always very friendly and can pour a good pint. For example, I can't remember ever having to have my pint topped up cos I've been given too much head (Insert joke here). |

Warrington Town, Chester, Macclesfield or Norton United. Any of these away for me please, from a purely selfish geographical bias! Could put Crewe on that list but always nicer to play someone not in your division. |
| Forum Reply | Bad achilles injury? at 12:53 22 Oct 2014
I ruptured my achilles in 2012. I did mine from a standing position, and turned to accelerate too quickly. I wasn't at the match last night so don't know how PV got injured. With mine, it was around 4 weeks in plaster, then another 8-10 weeks in one of those medical moon boots. Then months and months of physio, could've been almost a year. However, I'm far from a professional sportsman. Benteke ruptured his achilles prior to the world cup and I believe he's back in the Villa team, if not coming off the bench. Fingers crossed it isn't an achilles, but whatever it is, a big get well soon to Peter! |

Band - Kaiser Chiefs (can't believe no-one else has said them!) Dale Player - Nicky Adams. Rarely beat the first man with his cross, and rarely attempted to beat them one-on-one. Fruit - Anything with a lot of pips! |

I remember him having a good game at Left back at home to Huddersfield. We were 1-0 up at half time and remember my Dad saying it's going to be a long tough 2nd half. And it was til JLAA and COG scored in the last 5 minutes or so. |
