Hopefully Faulin and Granero's passing along with Diakete's power and drive will win us the midfield battle and give us a chance to control the game. Think the runs down the wings will be vital for us for this 4-5-1/4-3-3 is to work but I have faith, we certainly seem to have the players for it. |

Thank you for the positive comments, rest assured I will not hesitate to post my own views and then ignore them all in due course when I will in no doubt be proved wrong. Oh and I had to leave the cheese to the end, it was the only was I could be certain you'd all read the boring prelude to it :) |

Hi, I have been reading this forum for a while now (since before the crossover to the new site) and feel the need to register as it seems like there are divisions forming between us fans into two sections (the keep him and the fire him debate) and that’s not mentioning the die-hard Park supporters. I believe, Neil should never have been fired. He took us from relegation candidates to champions and we were on course to meet our season objective and but for some crucial refereeing decisions in certain games (WBA, Norwich and Swansea) we would have been clear of the relegation zone at the time of his departure and he would probably still be here today. That said, I fully support Hughes and the team. Tony and Amit have stuck to their word and backed him financially and he has assembled a squad the quality of which (just count the number of internationals and Champions League winners now within it) I honestly cant believe we have at the loft from where we were just a few short years ago. Yes the team are failing to meet what we were all expecting from them in pre-season (I'll openly admit before the Swansea game I was full of optimism for the first time I can remember as an R and thought we would finish 12th... ish) but the performances if not the results are there! Look at the weekend, Spurs and the Chelsea games. Look at the league table (I recommend having a bit of Dutch courage before doing so) but out of our 9 games 8 teams make up the top 10. Now look at the bottom half, the other teams in the relegation mix have failed to capitalise on our poor results and this team has the experience and quality to make them regret that. Look at the bookmakers odds on relegation; they still have faith in us staying up so how cant we? Ask yourself, if this was any other team would you be saying they were dead and buried and we're now playing for two spots or that they'll pick up form and far from it? Let’s get behind the team, just like we did in the run in last season, as the Reading game is huge! I personally don’t believe a game only 10 into the season can be classed as a must-win but if it possibly could then this would be it. But to do that we need to come together as a fan base regardless of what you think about the manager, who's playing on the wings or the ownership. This is just my two cents but regardless, together, WE ARE QPR! Oh and my favourite cheese is wensleydale. |
