He will wait until after the transfer deadline as that's when some bigger clubs who could not get the player they wanted will possibly offer him a contract.

Or relegated Prem clubs who still have some cash to burn will make him an offer. He wont move until then, hence he's on holiday. You will see him start to train when the season starts as his season is a month behind the real one now.

Then there are the foreign clubs, not sure how he would get a visa though for Europe. Or maybe the Saudis take a chance on him.

Plenty of options for Willock, he is in no rush.

I am not sure about him.
At first I thought that's one to go for as stats wise he has high assists.

But when I looked those up, they were all against lower-Champ teams.
Hence this is why I am not sure he's that good.

Morrison is the backup for Cook, as Cook does get injured. We got lucky last season with Cook and JCS being fit in the later stages.

By signing another RB, now Dunne can also play CB again if needed. Gives QPR options in a long season. I suspect Cannon cannot handle the Champ season, too much for him 3 games a week.

We still need a Winger, DMC (in case Field gets injured), and, of course, the mythical goal-scoring Forward. We already have signed three first teams; we should only be in for another three, really. This means we can save money for any great loan options that the Prem clubs let us have for cheap, like Hayden.

It looks like we are beefing up defence in the young and long term. That is where the potential cheapness is, like JCS.

If we can get cheap defenders in, this means more monies for spending on expensive forwards who always cost more.

I would like to see Ross Stewart on loan from Saints if they don't want him anymore. He can come and get a few games with us on loan to build up his fitness. Top player who is far superior to Dykes.

It's a bit more than that. It's about discovering their greater Value from the stats that other clubs (including the selling or previous club) did not. It's not about finding average players; it's about finding the Gems in the stats (which you look at differently from other clubs) before anyone else does.

For example, as we did with Andersen. Or we take a risk on their injury record and get away with it as we did for Field with WBA. Or like when we got Paal on a free just because he was a defender in a relegation season.

Or Cook on the cheap, as he was seen as old and tired when the Champ he is a top CD. Or sniffing out Cannon is actually available and not signed up as his wages were not being paid (that comes from analysing contract stats). Or getting Smyth on a free, as other clubs don't think he can play in the Champ, even as a squad player.

Finding Value from stats, which you have analysed differently from other clubs to get Valuable players for far less than they are really worth. Cook we cannot sell really, but he's very valuable to us. So, its not only about the sell on, but that would be our best outcome if we can do it. As we did with Dieng.

Rocco signs on the offy
https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/2024/june/21/rocco-friel-joins-qpr-dev-squad/

WLS says its a 4 year deal:
Sauce: https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-sign-rocco

If true that's a long deal for a Dev Squad player, me thinks this is a Moneyball signing.

Kellys Heros

This films via Sutherlans performance shows that some waster hippies can be fighters if the fight is personally worth it to them. Also, just because they are hippies does not mean they don't understand the world and don't have the expertise (as in knowing how to take on the superior Panzer tanks and when NOT to take them on).

He plays the role amazingly well with jokes such as "negative vibes".

Or you put that rumour around to get defenders on Sick-Sok and a few want to believe it as reality is hard for some. You know some people have mental health issues so, don't be too hard on the defenders.

Meanwhile, you are off spending the lot on your mates at the boutique shops because you need friends outside of work as you have none inside it.

The thing is, if he was not such an idiot, he could have made a managerial career for himself. Now, with all this nonsense, why would he have any credibility with any player?

This means that anyone who stupidly hires him will immediately lose the dressing room. Also, when they project onto others it comes from a fear of doing similar activities and getting found out. "No, I called you it first" excuse.

Stay away from such people; they are not special, just delusional.

Serbia 🇷🇸 v England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Match Thread
at 22:10 16 Jun 2024

After Englands goal, around 25 mins the Serbia manager moved the Wingbacks higher to outnumber England in the middle and control the game.

It worked as TAA became totally exposed, not knowing whether to go or stay. He stayed, and then Bellingham was on his own. Bellingham is so good that he can take the ball and turn away from two players, so it was not as noticeable until the game wore on. Hence, in the first half, Guéhi had a 100% completion rate, but not in the second when he had few options as a pass out.

Luckily, both of England's fullbacks were excellent, especially in the air; remember, this Serb team's average height is over 6 feet. Which is why the Kane long ball did not work as often as it usually does, as Serbia are more capable in the air. Rice was excellent as well. Saka faded in the second half, and Foden was very poor.

Bowen came on and showed that if you give Kane service, he will hit the target. I suspect Southgash will play Gallagher instead of TTA against the Danes as we cannot have TTA standing off their middle and letting them control the game.

Pro-Climate change is similar to Pro-Smokers in the 70's.

The actual scientists did way more research against the bad scientists (often funded by Big Tabacco) who only produced minimal amounts of pathetic research that was, over many years, finally and wholly debunked.

Even then, people would say it's all about nothing and smoking is fine; it has to do with something else. Also, these obscure scientists who have been rejected by the evidence and their peers were trotted out as an example of an alternative view. Yes, it was an alternative; it was wrong!

We had to spend decades educating (what some would call fear I call honesty), billions of monies and people's lives were lost, proving to these naysayers that, no, actually, smoking is horrible for you. For these pro-smokers to finally say, yeah, well, it is terrible, but it's my choice. And then we had to spend more decades, more billions and losing more lives proving passive smoking was bad, too. There were lots of rubbish scientists who were in the minority defending that one as well.

Then we had the afters of polluted air affecting asthmatics and even people with healthy lungs, but that was all apparently made up or wrong too.

Its always he same, the majority of the science industry gets it correct the majority of the time (not always), yet these naysayers just cannot fathom the change. It's everyone else being wrong somehow, yet they have no real evidence from no real credible sources (as they often get debunked). And yet more decades, billions and peoples lives will be lost.

Really, you have to question, are these people in the best interests of the majority? Can they not understand they are not the experts? That they have not done research properly? And it is up to them to prove it wrong not the other way around?
Not just be a naysayer because, once again, they cannot accept that the science is against them?

Asmir could go there as a 3rd choice Keeper and coach.

I would be surprised if we get Travers. He must be on Premium wages and managed to get some starts in the Premier League last season.

Travers can probably do better than QPR.

An L1 cub will take him on a 1-year contract at massively reduced wages, at which point he will play a full season like he did at Doncaster.

And so the cycle begins again.

It looks quality to me; he should have scored at Southhampton. He will learn from that, and next time, he will score from a similar chance.

I say loan him out to an L1 club at the bottom end and see if he can do an Eze/Chair down there. Forwards to lower league clubs tend to come and get some minutes, at least with struggling teams. We can see if his body can take it, as I think he has a suspect injury record as well.

QPR should only loan him until January, as I feel this kid could be a real talent. If he does well, we want him back by January. If not, renew the loan and see how he goes.

Morgan Fox is a bit better than functional.

I watched him a little when he came back into the team at LB, and he can actually cross the ball very well, indeed, from the left-back position without beating the defender. Something Paal does not have.

I suspect that he has a very good left foot, and this is known in the industry, hence his recall to the Wales squad when he hadn't played much; those in the know were in the know. Marti obviously saw it in training and brought him in ahead of Larkeche for that reason and, of course, his height.

Morgan is above average in the Champ skills, however, due to his age and lack of pace, he should be a sub and not a starter. Useful backup and we need those as Cook and JCS can get injured. If they go at the same time we can struggle by with Fox and Dunne, with Cannon at RB.

I remember when we had no CD reserves of note and struggled for LB let along backups. QPR have done a decent job in building a cheap squad that has backups now in defence for the long campaign that the Champ is.

If JCS did not have a really bad injury record, I would say to keep him. But he does, and that's the data, so we can only go on for now.

I think Marti would be okay if we sold him as long as he gets the funds to replace him. Managers tend to like to have a nice transfer kitty if players are sold, as then they can bring in players they fancy, like Andersen, for example.

We need to sell JCS as his history is too injury-prone. We should sell Chair, but with this court case unlikely, Marti will be happy when we keep him. If Armstrong doesn't sign a new contract, we need to sell him now as well for whatever we can get.

I think if Burnley doesn't come in for Marti, we should be okay, and he will stay as we have some monies this season to spend. And if we get it right, then this could put us in the top half, which makes it look good on his CV. Rather than ending up like Beale and having to coach in war-torn countries where no players want to sign.

If he's not signing a new deal, then sell him for whatever you can get.

Jan is too late, as they were promised signing-on fees to wait until the contract expired, so that's what they did.

He has potential, but so did many players, and we have seen from the revamp of the Dev Squad and the many players over the last two seasons who have faded fast ... Amos, anyone? That some of these players were never good enough.

It can be done; Smyth proved it, but even then, Smyth is only just good enough at this level and not a game changer, game after game like Chair or Andersen or Willock.

Sell him quick!
