The window was not "calamitous". It is a fake narrative.

Two quality players were signed on loan O' brien and Delcroix and a Swede who everyone seems to rate will be joining in few months. The loans have already made a positive impact and should be enough to keep the club away from the trapdoor.

Potters recruitment was calamitous . The " non negotiable four".

No duffers signed which are worse than no one at all.

A couple of points to consider here.

a) No mention of any investment. He will probably be an employee not a board director. If he I invests his own cash he would have a case to join the board. Being on the board can ensure longevity.

b). He is an owner of a football data consultancy so will bring with him some software and computing capability. Swansea might be used to showcase the benefits of this company.

IAM never quite sure what happens when the club recruitment guru leaves. Andy Scott told fans he had revolutionised the recruitment systems in the long term good of the club. When he left it seemed back to square one with the young fellow and then Watson.

Williams Swansea be signing up with Football Radar for saying 5 years? What happens when Montague moves on.?

We have managed to make one of the key things a football club does very messy for a while now. As you outline we need some structure and organisation around this rather than 'buying someone's approach' which may or may not work.

As someone on this chatboard has stated before, a PR person should assist LW with his talking points. He makes too many weird statements that can be taken the wrong way.
