Feel very underwhelmed. Lots of possession but didnt really lay a glove on them second half, other than one late header not a shot on target second half. Eze and Bright Samuel largely ineffective and two poor goals conceded.

In more positive news Masterson looking very assured at centre half.

I'll avoid talking about the FA Cup. Sleep tight everyone

On train from Preston to Manchester. Can't disagree. Thought BOS struggled a lot once he realised he had someone who could play against him. Rarely took any players on. Eze may need a rest soon although he seemed to be taking it a bit easy.

Thought best were Hugill, Chair and Kane. Masterton was solid. Not much Kelly could have done with either goal. Wallace didn't have the best game and Cameron was hot and cold. Hall was ok but did some silly things as well. Amos also struggled.

Shopido tried hard when he came on for Chair but Pugh was rubbish tonight.

People are saying Pugh's legs have gone. Shame really as he was an excellent and clever player.

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Yes, big shame as he's meant to be a great character to have in the dressing room.

Cue people saying that's where he should remain!

Kelly fumbled a shot out which was then cleared of the line, If Lumley had done that he would have been crucified

that said, Kelly is clearly much more assured with the ball at his feed and we seem determined to mess about with the ball at the back so he is the best option.

I thought Masterson was our best defender, good in the air and has composure and can pass effectively with both feet. I think he is set for a long run in the side

Eze was very well marshalled, double and even triple marked at times, we played to much across their 20 yard line rather than penetrating and getting round the back of the defence and our crossing mainly from the left was consistently poor and easily nullified. I thought the Blackburn defence did well and were well organised. BOS was pretty ineffective when switched to the left, Pugh was poor when he came on, Kane on the other hand was better than he has been recently

Although we lost and both of their goals were poor from our perspective we fared better generally than we normally do at Ewood we just lacked a cutting edge
