During his two spells at the Club, player wise there have been many comings and goings but what would be his best ever starting eleven and would it hold its own in the Chamionship? Loan players are allowed plus those already at the club when he was appointed.
Basically did Hilly bring enough quality into the club to compile a team capable of competing in the Championship and what would that team look like? There's no doubt we have seen some fantastic footballers during Hilllys reign.

No, all players who Hill managed at Dale and how they have progressed playing at a higher level. Dawson and Murray, Alfie and Buckley must be very difficult to leave out i would think. Its not based on just how they played at the time. | | | |

The thing with Le Fondre is that wherever he's been, he's never managed to shake the supersub tag. For that reason alone he'll always remain on the bench, even in situations like this. McArdle? He'd struggle to get into the top 10 for best Dale centre halves.

The starting post on the thread doesn't state it has to be players who Hilly signed though or the fact they had to play in the Championship or above, it states players who where already at the club. It's a mistake often made when sitting for exams, failure to read the question properly. | | | |

Murray signed for Rochdale on Jan 4th 2007.
Hill signed him. ( whether he'd been here on loan or not doesn't really come into it). | |
