Our dear departed leader was on spouting his usual nonsense about what he had to work with at QPR.
2 sentences apart he said first he only had 11 players to take to Ireland and then said he took 12. Lots of Fentastic and defence of what Joey said about him, and apparently Joey had spoken to him to tell him the 'article' was complete lies.

I've got to admit I too struggle with this idea by some to even consider let alone type and make public on a public forum this idea that it was a good idea to resign Zamora and/or that Zamora, since Wembley, has been anything other than a nuisance to the opposition players and home fans.
Just to clarify, I'm not slating Zamora as I don't think anybody can doubt that he has literally put his aching, creaking, knackered old body on the line and he gives it his all every game, as he should. But he shouldn't be playing for us in the Premier League. He shouldn't have been given an extension, imo. He´s a broken footballer that we all knew couldn't last a full 90 minutes. We knew this at the start of the season so you just don't renew the contract of someone who basically can´t play one game on the trot. The idea that there was no other option is just lazy and ridiculous.

really it was a good job he did re sign Zamora as we'd be even worse if he hadn't come in and had a spell in october/November where he did well and we won a few games
I just watched the Liverpool home again and we really did play well in that game,and we didn't deserve to lose it.Zamora played a blinder for the time that he was on the pitch,but we looked a lot better when Vargas was put on up front. Am I mistaken, or am I correct in thinking that Harold has previously said he does not have a flutter?
Therefore, I conclude he thought that he was advertising a campaign to fight the devil rather than promoting a Bookmaker!
Back to the trip to Ireland, I expect that by this time next year we will be hearing that Bond, Jordan & Redknapp had to play in those matches to make up the numbers.
Perhaps he will have a case to sue the club for the knee damage that he suffered!

If Pinnocchio was ever to be considered for the England job, as some on here have suggested, it would almost be beyond belief after the colossal f--k up he made of our club. But at least it would be good news for "the boy Jermaine" and "the boy Crouchy", who would both be sure of a recall. and the first thing he would do after getting the job would probably to see if he could bend the rules to enable Niko to play as well.
