| News Comment | Football’s message to fans: “Together we will get you safely back into grounds” at 11:23:24
What must be at the back of people's minds in government is not the 2m safe distancing rule being workable inside stadiums as clearly it will be but what happens before and after fans are in the ground. With C19 again spreading rapidly clearly the government strategy is to discourage large uncontrolled social gatherings of people. Think 'football fans', think "discipline" and there in a nutshell is the incompatibility at the heart of the decision making. |

It may be a very shrewd buy. Walcott and Ings could be a very potent force strike force. Just need to tidy up his game, get his ridiculous hair cut and shave off the fungus and we'll have a top player |

As fanciful as it may sound there is just the possibility that Hasenhuttl wants out and a 6,7 or 8 goal drubbing would have given him the perfect opportunity to offer his resignation, just as he did last year after that never-to-be-mentioned-again result. Why might he want out? Simply because he is totally PO with all the BS promises (lies) of financial support to bring in players he wants that never materialise. |
| News Comment | Is Greed In A Crisis Finally Turning The Fans Away at 20:48:25
This may help. I used to love football so the thought of a live PL match for free on the Beeb tonight should have been a treat to look forward to. In fact, I almost forgot it was on, watched two very boring teams for about 15 mins then turned it off again. I'm not even interested in the outcome. |

What nobody is doing is giving credit to Mourinho. We've seen it with him time and time again with several clubs, he watches the first half without getting too involved then makes a couple of changes at HT to exploit the errors he sees in the opposition's game plan. Not that it was particularly difficult today to see how easy it was to defeat Ralph's high-line game. Long balls over the top to fast front runners. Bingo! Puzzle is why Ralph did nothing about it when he could see clearly that the opponents tactics had changed after HT, so why didn't Ralph change our tactics to counter what Mourinho was doing? 100% Ralph to blame. Our players weren't that bad, just a very bad system that they barely understand led to a collapse of morale and loss of concentration and commitment. |
| News Comment | Saints Looking To Offload Sofiane Boufal On The Cheap at 11:26:21
I think we should keep him, what's strange about that Nick? He's a brilliant footballer. OK so he doesn't fit Häsenhuttl's playing style. 2/3rd of the players in the Pl probably wouldn't fit his style either. That doesn't make them or him a bad player. |

People need to be 2m apart, not 1m except in exceptional circumstances which also require everyone to wear a mask. Knowing what a bolshy lot Saints fans can be - "I'm not wearing a bloody mask"- best to assume 2m spacing, so 15% attendance is more likely initially. |
