Why, it is certainly better than the one we had two years ago which was just plain white with a red band down the front, at least it looks like a Saints kit should look like | |

The logo somehow makes it look cheap.
Plus it doesn't look like a saints shirt. It looks generic. Could be Brentford, or Sheffield United...

Even if you accept that it's a hideous striped design, even for hideous striped designs it's a bad one. It looks like a generic £15 Sunday league kit which I think you moaned about in the past?
The mock-ups we saw earlier with white sleeves looked so much better.
Still as Saints ARE red and white (but NOT necessarily in striped format (unlike Newcastle) then I'm ok that we have to have a striped home shirt every 2 or 3 seasons to keep the deck chair botherers happy.
It's only for a season and we'll be back to a non striped shirt next season which will be more popular with the fans and sell more units. |  |
