Despite my memory being old, hazy and currently addled by Calvados, a side effect of living in France where the local bar does a good lunch, I want it put on record that I haven't signed a Brazilian in my life, even with a wax crayon; (although I am not opposed to doing so on principle and it would only take a felt tip to change my mind.) Screwed and relegated? Sorry Toff, money screams. if the playing field were to be levelled, Each club allowed to spend £X under well defined and transparent rules for all, maybe but the game is now (and probably has been for years) so bent that it won't happen. |

Quiteright Matt. New manager, effectively a new side. Let Tall Paul get that first goal and there should be no stopping him like performance anxiety did to the team today. They ARE good enough. They just need to believe it. |
