Then…. “Are you the Judean People's Front?", “#### off they’re splitters, we’re the People's Front of Judea” Now…. “Are you the Cowleys Out Brigade?", “#### off they’re splitters, we’re the Cowling Out Brigade” Time to decide which side to take…….. ……or just open the popcorn and watch the latest nail driven into our coffin. |

...doing the rounds on tvvatter? Where's my pitchfork! The great unwashed are revolting. Turns out, Leslie offered him good money for the U's because of its potential and if he's to be believed, RC wouldn't sell because he thinks he built Col U, it's his baby (let's be honest anything he's sired is a good advert for contraception). Looks like we are in for an interesting time in the coming months. [Post edited 4 Nov 14:10]

I’m guessing that on here, we all do (or did) various different jobs/professions. Can you image after say ten years experience, you suddenly forget how to do your job. It’s just inconceivable. Yes, you might have training from time to time to learn new developments or to make sure you are still up to speed. These are professional footballers. That’s all they do for a living. All the work they do between matches should be practice and keeping fit, with a little planning for the next opponent. It shouldn’t be about learning how to do their basic job. Defending hasn’t changed overnight, I don’t understand how they can forget how to do the simple things, unless they weren’t good enough in the first place or they are past it, or they're coached so much that by the time Saturday comes, they don’t know their arse from there elbow. |

Can't help thinking this should run in parallel with 'The Cowley's Book of Bull' 'You can't beat a man that never gives up' yes you can, this is football, not bare knuckle fighting. 'Great business for the club' yep always great to sell your best players, to pay for the academy and then buy donkeys on the cheap. For all their failings, and there are many, I still think they would have done a job if they'd been given a decent budget, but we need to wait until the penny has dropped with the 'Cult of Cowley' before they are dispatched, otherwise we'll have 20 years of 'we should have stuck with Danny'. It's bad enough with McGreal [Post edited 4 Nov 11:03]

Just imagine that you’re sitting on that bench with around 200 L1/L2 games and 64 goals under your belt, your 28, so you should be at the top of your game. We are in danger of being knocked out of the cup, but the gaffer leaves you on the bench but puts on a 19 year old Huddersfield reject (yes, Huddersfield, you can’t make it up), with no league experience, who’s found his level playing in the Isthmian League North Division. Are the conspiracy theorists correct, Matt’s played 39 times for the U’s, does it cost us more if he plays 40 times? It would certainly appear that there’s something very strange going on at the U’s and I would guess that like most of our woes, it stems from Mr. ‘my club, not yours’. |

I'm not sure everyone appreciates what we have in our ranks: Matt Jay age 28, 281 games, 64 goals. A goal every 4.3 games Jack Payne age 30, 448 games, 73 goals. A goal every 6.1 games Matt not getting a look in would be fine if we were winning games, but how can we justify not finding a space for him in the side? Surely he deserved a start today? |

Todays Quiz Question:- 2020-2021 Season Matt Jay 48 games, 20 goals Jack Payne 47 games, 4 goals Lyle Taylor 42 games, 5 goals 2021-2022 Season Matt Jay 51 games, 16 goals Jack Payne 41 games, 13 goals Lyle Taylor 33 games, 8 goals From the above, can you guess which player isn’t a Cowley ‘old boy’? |

There’s a long, long way to go yet, but finishing 18th would require 6 teams worse than us. I don’t see that at the moment. |

I saw one betting site had Southgate at 6/1. I think there’s a danger I would die laughing if that happened. |

I bet you loved telling other kids that Father Christmas wasn't real As for comparing managers stats, I'm sure you're right but it's a bit like saying a twisted ankle is better than a broken leg. [Post edited 28 Oct 16:25]

….can Kieran McKenna get the Man Ure job. Apparently, he’s been a coach there before? Binners old boy Tony Humes would be the perfect replacement at Poorman Road. [Post edited 28 Oct 16:22]
