Exactly what I mean, as I said fearlier, they'll forget about in in a couple of months, it'll fade away because the refs will get tired of the players having a go at them. Which is daft because when the players give them verbals then book them and send them off if needs be. All it takes is for them to enforce the rules strictly for a month and the bad behavioiur will become a case of here and there and not the norm. |

I think you over estimate Plaid. Ap Iorwerth could shout all he likes but again, the PM can ignore him.
It's up to the PM who he listens too and shouting the loudest gives no guarantees. Plaid would have no real power and unlike Scotland, the "Welsh" party can't get a majority. Westminster are also scared of losing Northern Ireland. They have no worries over Wales. We have no strong "indy" streak but they were worried about the SNP taking Scotland out of the union, so much so they denied another vote, legally yes, but still denied. Same with Ireland, they worry the ROI will take the rest of the island back. TThey are quite confident Wales is going nowhere so they will ignore any demands no matter how "gritty" the demands are. |

The same chaos we have seen in Northern Ireland and then in Germany too, I think it happened elsewhere too. The entire country is stalled because coalitions cannot agree.
This is what Reform could bring to Wales, more stagnation while they argue over the first minister. |

No, theyntried this before with 6 seconds. The keepers carried on doing it, the players harangued the ref when he gave an indirect free kick and slowly the refs stopped enforcing it.
The rule may even still be on the statute books. |

Well then, this time it's going to be enforced eh. We'll see but I bet the players all get on referees backs and a month in we'll see the same thing, keepers holding onto the ball too long and referees ignoring it.
Why would it be a nightmare to regulate? When the keeper catches the ball start counting, as the story says, at 5 put your hand up and use 3 fingers...1...2....3, if the keeper is still holding the ball it's a corner.
I think it has to be taken further though, lets say after 3 incidents the keeper gets booked then ONE more time it's a red. If refs actually punish them the keepers will stop doing it.
For too long now refs have allowed players to get away with cheating. |

I think when a foot is that high and obvioulsy dangerous then there should be no benefit of the doubt. Outfield players don't get it even if they haven't made contact.
VAR used properly should be good, they made a mess of it. This new semi automated offside, will it be any good? |

I watched it again, I don't see how Oliver could have failed to see the keepers foot was dangerously high as it flashed past the strikers head. Looking at where he was and then seeing the keepers foot go past the players head he must have seen it. Even if there was no contact it was dangerous play.
On the other hand I have also seen Oliver give decisions when he very clearly couldn't see. He gave a decision against the Swans once when he had been looking in the other direction, had his back turned to what happened. |

Benefitted Ukraine, what, surrender thousands of miles of Ukrainian territory with no security guarantee and hand over billions of dollars worth of mineral rights to the USA, Trump profits, Putin profits and Ukraine gets to count the cost in lives lost, territory lost and the worry that Putin might come back...
