We have spent 25 million on a goalkeeper, which we were all pleased about, including me. But on reflection, and yes in hindsight after another defeat and after Ramsdale has conceded 3 goals, should we have spent 25 million on a striker? Just a thought.
Kier Starmer is going to ban smoking and vaping from pub gardens and outside areas, so that will include all those who smoke outside football grounds before the game, at half time and outside. I don't smoke or vape. But this is wrong imo. Does he really think that those who choose to smoke will stop smoking and the NHS won't have to deal with it anymore because of an outside ban? They will just smoke elsewhere, and still be a burden on the NHS. Some of our stewards will love that "Put your fag out or you're out (out in the streets)".
It was impossible for the top teams to play each other and 4 of them knew they were playing at home before the draw. All something to do with arranging dates for playing in Europe. So the top 6 all play lesser teams, fixed in advance. All the other teams, have no such arrangements to be at home or to be drawn against a lesser team. There should be outrage about this.
The game takes place the week beginning 26th doesn't it? I am assuming tickets will start being sold Monday, but no announcement so far. We will likely get a 4000 allocation. I think it could be quite popular if the prices are right.

All kicking off in Southport and in other parts of the country. This could unfortunately develop. A terrible tragedy, related to Islamist terrorist apparently. Mosques being attacked across the country. Its being kept quiet, but the killer is apparently a Muslim but the lack of information is not helping. National Front far right jumping on the bandwagon. The community wants answers..
Can anyone shed any light on what these are. I don't want one, just want to understand why anyone would get one and whether it's fair. It says "Cup and away priority" for silver and gold. What does this mean? Those who have bought bolt on's can get an away ticket before those without bolt on's?
So in practice, a fan with a gold bolt on who hasn't been to any away games quite fancies going to Bournemouth away, so gets priority over those who have have been to lots of away games? And if not, what's the point of the bolt on? At the same time, why should someone who has paid a lot more on away games but doesn't have the bolt on, miss out on away tickets?
England in the final again. Despite the moans about Southgate, England are in the final. Getting the job done, boring or not is all that matters. And Holland are a great team. Venebles, Hoddle, Keegan only ever got to the semis at best. Boring is best by the looks of it.
A Swansea player who has never played PL football? A player from Peterborough from league one to PL. Am I missing something here? Should we not be signing trued and tested PL players? I really think we need a top 40 million pound striker, an experienced defender and a play maker if we are to survive in the brutal PL we are about to face.
Who is getting tickets via Saints in the away end? I notice Saints are selling tickets to our fans as an away game. Who is going to mingle in the home end? I am a Saints season ticket holder but go to Eastleigh when Saints arn't playing. Happy to go in either end but would like to go to the game.
Personally, I love the guy. He genuinely loves this club, he always gives his all for the shirt and he scraps. He doesn't sulk or look miserable like Adams does at times or Sulemana. But I accept there are question marks over his ability in the Premier League. He can make mistakes but haven't all the players? I think he should definitely be a part of our squad.
I read that the West Brom manager was upset about their team coach being made to wait in a road before being allowed access to the front of the stadium. He was also upset about temporary advertising boards being put on the touchline to stop their long throws. All understandable, but we should absolutely be making it as uncomfortable as possible for the away team. Well done Saints and well done the Saints fans for making it such an intimidating and uncomfortable place last night. We need to make as uncomfortable and as difficult as possible for the away team. I am all for it (within reason and non-violent ofcourse).
Hope they get rid. One real benefit of being in the championship has been not having VAR. A one second glance at the linesman and then you can celebrate a goal. VAR has sapped the life out of football. This season, we have had a few goals against and a few goals for that shouldn't have stood. It does even itself out. I can take a few mistakes from the ref. GET RID!
