RM just can't coach a team to play attacking football . He's terrified of taking any risks so we are stuck with this turgid passing for passings sake style.
Apparently we pass it around the back, in order to create space and opportunities further forward, but the evidence is crystal clear. It does not work. |

Well I usually judge the season after 10 games. Right now it's 9 games and we have 1 point.
Sometimes it's embarrassing being a saints fan. |

Not really true.
When they came up, they bought 22 players.
In their last game, not one of those 22 were in the starting 11.
So spending money isn't the complete answer. They've done well clearly, but it seems to be done by throwing enough mud at the wall and seeing what sticks. |

I don't get it. He doesn't use him from the start of games.
He doesn't use him when we are 2 goals up, and doesn't use him when we're drawings games.
If he wasn't fit he wouldn't be on the bench. It's yet another mysterious part of the RM footballing masterclass where he knows better than everyone else.
I just glanced at the table and we are already 7 points off 16th place, let that sink in. |

What's concerning is what today's result did to the players. Must have destroyed any fragile confidence they had.
If they can't beat another newly promoted side at home from a 2 goal head start they must wonder who they could beat. |

At least WS has contributed. Sulemana is our record signing. Of all the players we've had, he's the most expensive, let that sink in.
What has he done in 2 years other than fail get to get a place in some very poor teams. Utter waste of 20 million. |

I couldn't care less what song they sing. Does any manager come from the place they represent? Ferguson, Klopp, Poch, Koeman etc etc yet for England they have to be English and sing our song? I just wanna see us win.
Tuchel has a far superior CV than howe.
I also fully expect that the FA knew on the grapevine whether certain managers were open to taking the job or not. |

Leicester at home is a must win. We've already dropped too many points against teams we needed to beat.
I'm giving us 10 games to see where we are before we need to make a decision.
I dont like the style of play at all but maybe the team simply isn't good enough regardless of who is the manager. But I think if currentform continues we will need to see if a different manager and playing style can get us some points.
Right now we can't score, and we're easy to score against which will only mean one thing. Relegation. |

Every article on the daily mail website says its a disaster and he's German and shouldn't have the job. Obviously some directive from above to all their journos.
But amazingly the comments on each story are pretty much all positive which took me by surprise.
We broadly like foreigners in football here , like Klinsman, Zola, Bergkamp etc and even Jose.
If Tuchel wins games he'll be adopted! |

I don't agree with a word he says, but he is perfectly entitled to have a different opinion. Do we now vet people's views and backgrounds and judge whether they should be associated with the club?
Anyway, Rickie Lambert came out with much weirder stuff. I genuinely worried there was something wrong with him and he doesn't get the grief MLT does. [Post edited 8 Oct 10:42]

With no one up front, the Bournemouth cb's had nothing to do. So they could push up onto Dibling and Fernandes and squeeze all the space.
Strange tactics as Dibling has been one of our best players when he's out wide with more space.

I always think u give it ten games. That's a pretty good idea of where we are. Then he either gets sacked or backed for the season. |
