I've just had a garden fence put in made up of three-foot concrete dildoes. My neighbour isn't that fussed about it, but his missus is still on the fence... |

I'm mates with Finney and the Podcast guys and I've been lucky enough to go on and have my two-penneth a few times. People like those guys and Clive and a number of others go to a lot of effort to provide the information, coverage and insight that we often take for granted. Okay, that doesn't make them immune to a bit of criticism, far from it. But some of it is harsh and unwarranted. I guess if you put yourself out there then you are there to be shot down. I remember the days of living in the back end of beyond with only Ceefax, four channel TV and the radio as my source of QPR news. I think we are lucky to have the level of output we have now. Just think these guys deserve a bit more of a leg-up than a swat-down. |

If money is no object, Samsung S7 is where it's at. Glorious, powerful, sexy phones. Even an S6 will do a super job. If money is an object, the OnePlus Two at £249 is a pretty good package. Dual sim too. [Post edited 14 Apr 2016 16:57]

Agree with everything you say here bar one thing - the bullshit about Tony saving the club. Have you somehow forgotten the 6-7 years between the bucket collections and the Malaysian consortium taking control? In an otherwise eminently sensible post that comment is a myth that deserves to be challenged. [Post edited 22 Feb 2016 11:49]

I will be leaving it late, for financial reasons more than anything. I think it would be a very strange set of circumstances in which I wouldn't renew. |
| Forum Reply | Rodgers to QPR likely says Express ?? at 14:56 23 Nov 2015
The Express (along with the Star) is probably the most shoddily staffed paper in this country. Bar one or two big names / columnists, it is staffed with interns and school leavers. That's because its proprietor, Richard Desmond, runs it all on the cheap. All the decent journos were sacked a decade ago when Desmond took over |

The Bellamy Brothers' classic - If I said you had a beautiful Bardsley would you hold it against me?? |

"buys some beers for fans before games" It happened about twice. With a full retinue of media team and photographers in force. |

Spot on Clive. Quarter of a billion in debt and zero to show for it. The pertinent question for me is why should any potential buyer have to stump up to repay the debt that this board has run up in flights of fancy and incompetence? Some fans keep saying "Be careful what you wish for". Did any of this wish for this £250m millstone around our necks? |
| Forum Reply | Warren farm kaput at 12:36 9 Sep 2015
At a recent meeting with the fan websites, Lee Hoos said he had two priorities. - Restoring financial sustainability - A new training ground. I have no idea whether Warren Farm has indeed gone kaput. But I'm pretty sure that Hoos & co don't want us to limp along at Harlington in the medium / long term. My hunch is that IF this is true, they won't confirm it until they have alternative plans to announce. |
| Forum Reply | Lee Hoos interview at 14:53 28 Jul 2015
In the interests of open and honest communication, the club should not have put this interview behind a paywall. |

Haven't seen him play yet, but judging by the reaction on social media I fear we may have yet another scapegoat lined up... |

Nothing con-tench-tious about this signing |
| Forum Reply | Camelot rip off merchants at 13:06 17 Jul 2015
The Health Lottery is run by that shyster Richard Desmond - same person who owns The Express, Star, OK! magazine and Television X Only 20% of money from the Health Lottery goes to good causes, as opposed to 28% from Camelot. The thought of Desmond making profit from something supposedly charitable makes me shudder. |

Still can't quite believe we released him, but I'm both relieved and delighted. I thought there might be some deal to try and keep him at the club. Maybe there was, but I'd prefer to think it was conscious decision to release him. One of the most telling signs yet that we might just have learnt a few of the much-vaunted lessons... |
