He did win the ball first cracking tackle. Just seen the highlights. Speaking to a few at HT who were adamant it was a pen. I disagreed. The ref had a terrible game. Watching the highlights you can see he clearly takes the ball of the striker, ball then player.

If I remember correctly he was shown a second yellow after NiebieskiCzarny egged him on to jump in to the away fans after scoring! Top day all round and I had the 3-1 win at 16/1 |

Groves is a true maverick, Fierce and tricky, he confounded froch and de gale physically and mentally. He's been misunderstood by many, he hasn't trash talked or been disrespectful he's just highlighted weaknesses in froch. He's got under his skin and anger can be disastrous for a boxer. Groves is going to cause Froch problems with his superior movement and speed, I think Groves will both out box and outwit froch over 12 rounds. |

Spanish fans are notorious for not traveling to away games. The culture is to watch away games on the TV. I went to the Super cup at the start of the season, Athleti held Barca to a 1-1 draw, I was very impressed with the quality of their passing and defensive work rate. The Vicente Calderon was a superb stadium, top atmosphere. The game kicked off at 11pm due to the 40 degree heat in August, very strange experience watching football at that time of night. The peoples club, the bookies had them at 50-1 at the start of the season to win La Liga. Chelsea have a quality young goal keeper in Thibaut Courtois. I'm over in Madrid for the Champions league final this weekend, I hope they can replicate their Copa del Rey Triumph over Real. |
