Jonah nets two year contract
at 12:06:53

Excellent news, it will be great to see Jonah in a Dale shirt again and his influence as a leader both on and off the pitch will be invaluable to the manager and club.

League One odds for 2011-12
at 01:08:13

I love bookies.

8 teams are less than 3-1 to go down, i.e. break even mark with your stake back.

For the top teams, if you're betting on promotion for any team including the playoffs, the odds are worse than you would get if placing your bet on a team (any team when you have seen how they have fared over 46 games) in the playoffs.

The odds are what I would expect but there is no value, depending on the handicap betting, if that's the overall expectation then I'd be going for Exeter to be the ones who have been under-valued the most.

Buckley sale brings sell on to Dale
at 01:46:26

The only disappointment (ignoring our own clubs ££ interest) is that Will Buckley has, for the second time been sold because his club needs (or at least appears to need) to sell to balance books.

Dale stuck a decent sell on clause and are reaping, Watford likewise have stuck a decent sell on clause and will hopefully reap, being realistic, with Brighton being upwardly mobile, a brand new stadium, sold out for every home game next season already with season ticket sales, then it's on the face of it not a bad move for the lad.

I want to see Will Buckley playing in the Premiership however rather than being short sold, and I want him to have a couple of years playing 40+ games in the same team at Championship level so that he himself can show what we all saw in him.

It will be interesting to watch the twin careers of Craig Dawson and Will Buckley over the next 3 years.

Player of the Month for September
at 21:56:43

Bob's got my vote, the two wins over Saints and Hudds have been based on outstanding play by our whole defence but he has stood out for me in these two games just above the rest.

Hornets' Stadium Debt over £10,000
at 11:14:10

As Col mentioned, it's a legal minefield.

To challenge the Solicotor is equal to challenging the transfer of the shares to the RFL, equally time consuming with no guarantee of success.

It appears to me that the approach is that RAFC don't like it but have lumped it, instead creating a new working position between Hornets, Dale, the council and the Stadium Company.

The way forward is for this new contract to be honoured. From the reading above it seems a very straight forward agreement, £48K rent for the season with a 6 week period where Hornets cannot use the place due to necessary pitch maintanance which both sides benefit from.

As long as that is honoured and equally the Dale part then such bun fights will hopefully not continue to happen.
