The Gillingham game was an FA Cup third round tie and surprisingly it wasn't one of our record 51 losses. We drew 1-1 with Danny Boxshall scoring and won the replay at LR 3-1 (Hartburn, Hatton, McEwan) and eventually lost in the sixth round (SIXTH ROUND) in a replay against Derby. Thanks to the great qprnet.com stats page. [Post edited 8 Jan 13:29]

What's up with Sky tonight? Both pundits in the studio with big Rangers connections, Jamie Mackie and Gaz Ainsworth. Are they feeling alright? |

It's an urban myth. The way results fell that day they'd still have been relegated even had they won as Birmingham beat Norwich in their final game. At the conclusion of the game with City with a game left they were five points behind Birmingham who were fourth from bottom with two points for a win don't forget. Coincidentally, it was this day that LR got it's record attendance against recently crowned champions Leeds. EDIT: Just seen Bath Ranger's post mentioning it. [Post edited 5 Jan 20:44]

Third crack at this, still unbeaten. Going early as I probably won't get a lot of time on Monday to start one. Think they'll bring the run of wins to an end but we'll get something in an entertaining Desmond. Frey and Chair for us. |

They need another 6 points from 18 games to beat Derby's total. Shite as they've been, surely even they can manage that? |

Coldest: Britannia Stadium, Stoke January 2002. Bone chillingly cold. Won 1-0 with Gavin Peacock scoring. Wettest: Probably the League Cup tie at LR against Barnet I think in early October 1993. Absolutely pissed it down all day and didn't stop during the match. Stood in the West Paddock and we won 4-0 with Bradley Allen getting a hat-trick. [Post edited 2 Jan 21:00]

Smyth MOTM for me, Watford just couldn't contain him, he frightened the life out of them every time he attacked them. |
