How easy is it to move to the US, get a visa etc ?

Update
She came over to Oxon/London for a week over Christmas and loved it here. Then I went back out with her to Texas for a week to see in the new year. Best NYE ever.
Heading back there this Friday for the Superbowl and Valentines lol for 10 nights.
We're seeing how it goes this year, She's worried I'll find it too hot there in the summer but so far so good.
We text all the time an FaceTime most days, still in the honeymoon period I guess.
All from a Bumble match too, crazy.

Its very hot in Texas but nothing comapred to Florida in the summer.Just a side note but there is pretty deadly snakes in Texas so make sure if hiking ets keep an eye out .I am sure she will be giving you a heads up on the issues you would never dream of.Good luck its very exciting chapter nothing like transatlantic love fest |  | | |

I've lived in CA since 2007, its definitely changed a lot over here with regard to the politcal climate and division. Like seriously the wrong small town and it can get weird with the MAGA thing. I had a guy holler at me in a gas station recently in AZ cuz i have Cali plates on my car. Wont be long until things get violent since the J6 felons were pardoned and they feel like the President is behind them.
Shame cuz i really loved it out here for ages, now I'm likely to move back to UK in the coming years as thinhgs degrade. I hear the UK is kinda following suit tho? | |

You or anybody else have nothing to fear from the J6 felons as you call them because they are free now and in lots of cases were overcharged .
The guy hollered at you because California is one of the worst run run state in the union and just look at the way that recent horrific fire was handled and that will answer your question why he even said anything .I do think he was totally out of line though its not his business what plates you have .
Small towns are the life blood of America and you have nothing to fear from MAGA hat wearing people.You are much worse off in the Sanctuary cities where crime and violence goes on but thankfully the gangs are being taken care of as we speak.
I have lived here since the late 80s and luckily have never had an incident with anybody of any race or political affilations and found the American people very welcoming and safe to be around as you said you have so far .Your opinion that things are going to get violent is just that and does an injustice to there people IMO | | | |
