As someone who enjoys a bit of nostalgia and likes the odd nod to the teams history.
I think an updated version of the green and white hoops is well and truly due.
Not only is it visually good despite resembling Celtic, but that's the catch, let's really rub the salt into the wounds of Ian Beale, and have this as an away kit next season.
Could be tastefully done. The green doesn't need to be the garish green of previous kits, it could be a tad darker, with a very vibrant white and maybe some pintriping of sorts on the sleeves between the hoops...even the gold pin striping with a darker green would look good I think.
If we end up having one of these PUKE numbers for the away kit, I will be livid. Errea, LESS IS MORE!! you've done well with the kits.... make us a nice one with a nod to the past.

There is, but I've heard from somebody who knows the kitman (daughter's, cousin's dogwalker's postman told me so) that it's pink & black hoops as the away kit. There was a pink flash on the initial announcement video, so could be linked. Or could be bollocks. |  | | |

Incidentally, the problem with green and white hoops is that, however well it works as a kit (which it does) it doesn't do the prime job of an away kit which is to avoid colour clashes that come with the home kit.

I like us occasionally having the green and white hoops because it's part of our history (and always worth remembering that we wore them before Glasgow Celtic did), but they're definitely of limited use to us as a second kit. Same with the dark blue and light blue halves, which I'd really love us to wear at some stage. | |

Dan Norris, the QPR graphic designer fan, responsible for our current badge, knocked these up a while back and they're bloody marvellous. The issue Francis from the club shop raised, that others have mentioned, is not enough differentiation with the home kit to meet league rules.
