Government statement below, so let’s kill this nonsense here and now. Nobody needs any confirmation, permission or otherwise.

“We will be updating the guidance for areas where the new Covid-19 variant is spreading to make it clearer we are not imposing local restrictions. Instead, we are providing advice on the additional precautions people can take to protect themselves and others in those areas where the new variant is prevalent.

This includes, wherever possible, trying to meet outdoors rather than indoors, keeping 2 metres apart from anyone you don’t live with and minimising travel in and out of the area. These are not new regulations but they are some of the ways everyone can help bring the variant under control in their local area.”

Brentford is a very white area. If you drove through what you describe as a ‘foreign land’ to get to Brentford’s football ground it’s because you cant read a map or operate a sat nav. Don’t talk utter rubbish all the time. Particularly not racist rubbish.

There were definitely non white people working in the petrol station at the end of Chiswick High Street (tongue stuck firmly in cheek)

Nothing to get concerned around this for me, outside event with hugely restricted attendance plus local bars/restaurants have strict social distancing - if there were 90K+ going then maybe but 10K nah.
