Cotswold R's? 18:02 - May 2 with 7054 views | dubaistu | Seems the Doris has decided when we pull the plug here in the middle east we'll be heading towards Stow on the Wold. Any R's in Gloucestershire, tips on the good, bad and ugly? TIA

Totally irrelevant but that’s where my mum and dad had their honeymoon 65 years ago!

Cotswold R's? on 00:50 - Jun 13 with 1002 views | noauthority | Stroud is a good place. Lots of music, a great farmers market and as mentioned all sorts of people, all sorts. Stroud brewery if you like old skool English cask beer. Hippy leftovers from the rave days, it was a big centre for travellers and ravers back then. Moved a mile north of Nailsworth south of Stroud 6 years back and love it. Minchinhampton is nice, local pub reopened just before lockdown. Woodchester, Nailsworth, Inchbrook all lovely places. Loads of lovely villages north, east and west of Stroud too. Local football league side Forest Green Rovers... if you're not heading to Rangers. Bus to Glocuester. Cheltenham has the excellent Deya brewery. Train to Gloucester. By my reckoning Bristol is a 50 minute drive. Right pain by train as you have to go to Gloucester and change. Gorgeous countryside, seriously so. It's not the typical twee Cotswold villages round here but has more to offer.
