We all know how limited the music variety is at Spotland, I'm personally a fan of much of the stuff Dave Sweetmore plays but agree that a change of genre wouldn't go amiss from time to time. There's more to life than the Madchester rock scene of 25 years ago.
Been listening to Automatic for the People by R.E.M and reminded myself what a fantastic album it is, I know it probably isn't suitable for a football match but what sort of stuff do you wanna hear more of on the terraces? |  | | |  |

I do enjoy the yearly Chesney Hawkes song!
The music is like Marmite, some people love it, others don't. It usually a different experience for away supporters who hear it once a season and often like it, we get it every home game. A bit of variety might be preferable to many people, but I can't see the choice of pre-match/half time music being a reason why somebody would/wouldn't attend a game. |  | | |

Music by decent young local bands would be good. Definitely don't want to just here the charts repeated like we do at most grounds. | |

I love the music and I thought I heard a few new ones on Tuesday. I think we should keep to the local music on the whole as the are has so much to offer musically and I think the away fans appreciate that. It would be good, I agree, to hear some new local bands too. |  | | |

We keep hearing the away fans love our dj, whilst there is an undercurrent of home fans who can do perfectly well without our dj.
Simple logic tells us that the speakers should be kept on in Willbutts, and turned off in the home stands.
