I'm sure we can find a tow rope there's plenty of us that want this deal to go through, Greens given us some good and bad performances but his time is up and Smithies deserves the chance.
The McCarthy rumour was subsequently squashed when the player himself said in the press that he didnt want to go back to the Rs. I'm sure the majority of fans want to see Smithies given the No1 jersey till the end of the season to finally give him the opportunity to prove that he's good enough, let's hope all rumours including the Man United one are the usual press garbage speculation.
