Wouldn't make any sense to do it next season - say this happened on the opening day? They'd either deduct the points that season or impose a fine.

To deduct a team who have scored the lowest points in the Championship would seem about as incompetent as the FL can get!

Tend to agree a points deduction is unlikely but they may take some of this season's massive total away - as for the fine expect it to come out of next year's budget along with Sam's payment to the_stockport_one, extra policing costs, replacement of windows etc etc - guarantee the loser in this won't be the O's
