Two up front? Gabbiadini starting? Team winning by more than one goal? A win, not a draw? Manager actually engaged in the game, shouting directions, making tactical changes, talking to, and encouraging his players on the field after the game? Was I watching the Saints? Or is this some kind of alternate universe, you know, where Mr. Spock has a beard??

Whatever it is, lets have more of it!

Great win and good semi final draw v.Chelsea

I don't want United... until the Final ....and get revenge.

More relief than satisfaction at a win but the midfield need to get a grip as Wigan dominated the central third for large parts of the game and they only a League 1 side.

Are we saying that we cannot play 3 midfielders together now, we missed Romeu's marauding gatekeeper role to break up attacks stemming from their midfield?

We're not out of the woods yet by any means.

Not a performance that'll beat many PL teams. Awful really and the same problem areas....1). Central defence again woeful against lower league opposition. 2) Front 4....totally hopeless. Beginning to see that Boufal just hasn't got what it takes, and both Gabbi and Carrillo need to gibe some pudding proof if they're going to be regualar starters.

Wigan ran 1st half mostly but Saints overcame nerves and pressure to finally draw the sting from them. Clearly better side in 2nd half.

Ice cold and very blustery day and a poor pitch vs an on-form playing well lower division side and...we won. I thought the wind was a factor throughout and contributed to the 'game of two halfs' aspect. Like most I am not getting carried away but Hughes is better than MP and I believe that even if we go down we will feel that at least, very belatedly, we made a fight of it.

I think he will stick with those 2 CBs now but the big question is Carrillo. Give Gaby a run in the side and he will score a few but Carrillo looks poor. I think we still need Austin back - quickly.

One swallow doesn't make a summer but it was great to see less passing backwards, players really trying and a successful half time team talk! Thought the substitutions were good - they made sense in the context of the game. Feel for Gabbi - I thought he was offside and I think he did as well, but a great save from the goalie and a top class save for the penalty, which wasn't bad.

Favourite moment - Wigan fans hitting one of their own with a flare and then fighting amongst themselves. That and the rubbish swirling around the pitch showed the class of the opposition.

Didn't make it 'til 1.55 so missed most of what was obviously a dire first half. How good to have a manager who picks the team we want, playing the way we want and, being English speaking, can actually communicate. 'Gonna keep us up, win the FA Cup!

First time I've ever found our performance entertaining even if we suffered a defeat.

If their keeper dived the other way.......
