Forster had nothing to do again. Solid defensive display. Cork as silky as ever. Wanyama was as strong as ever. Shneiderlin was all around a general. Mane was great but I felt that he hindered Tadic. You could tell Tadic wanted to switch sides as he continued but Mane wouldn't let him probably because was doing so well on that side. Overall Tadic didn't have the best game. His final balls were off every time he tried to play it with his right foot. His magic comes from when he plays with his left. Pelle was snatching at chances but he was solid as usual holding possession and distributing constantly. He played his part. He NEEDS to score his next game. Long was the definition of a super sub as he allowed Tadic to switch constantly confusing the backs. He also provided that extra bit of pace needed to reach the balls to score. I commend him for that. He has gained much respect at the camp most likely. All in all, a solid win. We grinned it out. MOTM: Long. Honerable Mention: Bertrand. He was amazing. Taking the ball down the left and crossing the ball with pace and setting up the best chances in the first half. Clyne was underwhelming offensively but defensively was amazing as usual. Geat game. Happy we go into the break with a win. Now we have Aston Villa next. Hopefully we get another win. We March On. #COYR.

Long will get the headlines and rightly so for the impact he made but my MOTM was Wanyama who dominated the centre of the pitch. Tadic was much more effective when he switched to the left and that was helped when Long came on. Leicester were organised and played well in patches but we're woefully short of a creative influence. Quick mention for the ref who was clearly watching a different match as missed everything and then blew up for fouls that weren't there.

Leicester kept a high back line and frustrated Saints, our final pass was let us down in the first half. The terrible weather served to neutralize Saints superiority over a poor Leicester side who had nothing going forward. Good win though, pleased for Shane Long.

Well, it wasn't pretty but it was very solid and you can't argue with the result. I have seen some criticism of our players on other sites but I don't think that they are fair. The conditions were atrocious and both sides were slipping over and making unforced errors as a result. It felt as though a goal was coming for a long time, and sure enough, the excellent tactical substitution of Shane Long made the difference between the sides. Respect is due to Leicester - they played defensively but they weren't here for the draw and it was a full blooded match with tackles flying in from both sides. Thoroughly enjoyed the chorus of "We're not going down" at the end, though reluctant to join in the hubris of "We're going to win the league!" We won't make the lead game on MOTD this evening and for once, that would be the right decision, but softly softly, we are making an impact that no-one expected.

Good to see that we are capable of breaking down teams that have been set up for a nil nil draw. it's all good taking apart teams that want to try and out play us but we have always struggled against teams like this.

for me the MOTM was Big Vic. we are finally getting to see why the Celtic fans where raving about him. He totally controlled the midfield and looks solid and unflappable.

What a night of football ! Great performance from the team.Loved Arrys attacking intent just a shame that we came up against Aguerro-he was superb
Citys passing was something to behold but the passion and desire from the Rs should and could have sealed the game
Impressed with this set up we just need to hold onto the ball for longer
Initally not impressed with the ref but after MOTD think he got the Harts error goal spot on and he should have got some help from the lino with Citys first goal
Loved the atmosphere and the driving rain added to the spectacle
Curious why City fans were so quiet perhaps it it the prawn sandwiches?

Poor old Frazer is gonna get dropped by England for lack of match time.

Has to be said that when Woods went clear through, Frazer simply psyched him out by the power of the Force. "This is not the goal you are looking for."

MoM Morgan for me. Tireless.
