I don't think it's Nick's fault. It appears that a few people, who are not necessarily Saints' fans, are sabotaging the ratings, as no matter how well the team plays, the ratings are never very good. Of the 35 players listed only two of them average over 7 for the season.

Was Jenas playing in the second half? I hardly ever heard his name and the one who was winning the tackles in the midfield was Mbia, not Jenas. I am a bit worried that he is a "Harry player" and thus will get to play no matter what. Townsend was MoM with Remy a close second. Bosingwa also played quite well and actually went in for some contested headers.

I'm totally numb after watching that - how can they keep doing it to us?!!

The ref had little choice with Zamora's 'high boot' and it was a good showing with 10 outfield players, esp in the second class. A world class strike by Remy betrayed by the most moronic of fouls conceded by M'bia at the end.

And a fair point Oz about Jenas - I thought he was pretty quiet against Fulham too. Another great showing by Townsend - it would be great if we could get him on a permanent signing but I think we'd need to stay up.

So the agony goes on but i'll be at the Everton game next week. I'm going over for the weekend with my wife so it will be nice to see the match and share in the pleasure and pain first hand!

As an aside I was quite disappointed with Wigan - I thought they'd have gone for the jugular after Zamora's dismissal but they were pretty poor in the second half. Results elsewhere didn't do them any favours either.

Good performance if a little below recent weeks but more than enough for a poor Reading side. I was a bit worried about asome of the poor clearances by our central defenders but hey ho another three points is great. I though the Reading support was poorer than any away game I have attended and there seemed to be a huge number of empty blue seats. Song of the day 'was Nigel Adkins - he's too good for you' which hit home.

sickening, another chance slips away. Thought we were the better side, but didnt create enough. Remy goal aside dont think we had another shot on target? Townsend was superb again and it turns out he can cross with his right! samba and hill looked shaky at best in contrast to onuoha who did really well when he came on. We don't win enough headers in the middle of the park, puts us on the back foot from their and our own goal kicks everytime.

wigan were woeful but yet again someone steps up to the plate for us and stabs as in the back its amazing how we always seem to be able to find a way to blow a match

70mins with 10 men, 3 mins to hold on, with a 1-0 lead...and........once again, snatch defeat from the jaws and give them every chance by conceding a free kick! Sickening again.
Writing on the wall i'm afarid. Doesn't do your health any good supporting this lot every week.
