Tommy Fraser Has Gone Friday, 21st Jan 2011 20:48 by portvale4ever Club Captain Tommy Fraser has left by 'mutual consent' this week, and has signed with Barnet until the end of the season. Fraser, who joined us in May 2009, was Micky Adams first signing, but after showing initial signs of promise his form and confidence dipped badly. This season he has hardly featured, making brief appearances as a 90th minute substitute. It's no great loss to us in all honesty, towards the back end of last season Tommy's performances became woeful, and with Gary Roberts joining us in the summer fraser has found himself sitting on the bench, with Anthony Griffith and Doug Loft above him in the pecking order. Under Gannon Sam Morsy has found himself above Fraser, and this was probably the final straw for Tommy. It's also believed that Fraser has not settled in Stoke-On-Trent, so joining Barnet is no great surprise. Wishing him well for the future...
