Oh dear
I taught Tyrone’s 2 cousins A level and they were brilliant. Obviously proud of Tyrone too, but I’m reminded of a quip I made in a briefing following a trivial breach of school rules by Tyrone. I said to my nearest colleague “Mings ain’t what they used to be”. I’ve been eating my words ever since till today! [Post edited 7 Nov 12:45]

With the paucity of available talent our expectations will be low. Leeds will think it’s a stroll.
Recent games..even last night to an extent..show there’s still spirit there. Park a bus for 80 minutes and Dunn scores the winner from a corner. ( or more likely the equaliser). |

It’s really easy..and maybe necessary..to allot him with the whipping boy role. I mean, we’ve got to find someone to blame..it’s human nature.
However, seems to me that he has an important role to play. Having checked the stats, he’s hardly had much chance to show what he could do. And isn’t much worse than many others. He has shown ability to score plenty of goals at previous clubs. Get him used to this league, play to his strengths and maybe there is a player there. To be honest, we need him to be and there’s not much choice is there? ( I’ll get my coat!) |

Remember last year about how we started slowly due to the fitness supposedly building to reduce injuries. Seemed to me we were dead on our feet the last ten minutes. Is there a fitness issue again? |

I caught up with most of it and was generally very pleased. Well organised, sensible questions and answers…and I liked the video inserts. Seems churlish to moan too much. However, did I miss anything about the Development squad ( other than continuity of style and role in progressing young talent ). For example. There’s a game today…still nothing on Offy. In the past we could watch streams of games and get first hand insight on how things are working. Now a rare event. |
